Bentgo Kids Reusable Tray Covers (3 Pack)

Easy to clean and seals perfectly! It’s given more life to our bento boxes that had broken lids!

After tossing the original Bentgo boxes due to mold issues, I held onto the inserts and finally got these reusable lids—and I’m so glad I did! They fit perfectly, are easy to clean, and make the inserts usable again. Two years later, they’ve been a great way to repurpose the trays without the bulky boxes.

The Bentgo Kids Tray Cover has made our lunch prep so much easier. You simply make the lunch in your tray insert, seal the insert with the lid, and store it in the fridge overnight. What I especially liked is how well it keeps everything fresh and leak-free, so I know lunch will still be just right the next day. In the morning, just take off the lid and pop the tray into the Bentgo lunchbox—quick and hassle-free! Overall, it’s a helpful addition that makes busy mornings run smoother.

After dealing with the mold from the full Bentgo boxes I was ready to throw them away but someone recommended these so I thought I would give them a try because I love the tray with the different compartments. These are perfect!! My daughter (newly 3) has a hard time opening them but her teachers help her and I think with time she will get the hang of it. I haven't tried putting anything semi-liquid in it yet because I think it will leak. I also really love that I can toss them in the dishwasher!

So glad these are available now! We have (and love!) the box and insert, but these lids are handy to cover the divided insert if you want to make a snack or lunch ahead of time and pop in the fridge the night before. In the morning you can put the insert in the bentgo box and you're set to go! If I'm not packing a liquid or runny food item for my kiddo I sometimes just leave these kids on and don't even bother putting the divided insert in to regular box. The only negative is that the tabs on these lids are kind of tough to open and close, they're definitely not getting accidentally popped open!

We have only used these a few times so far but these are MUCH better than the full blown compartments for these Bentgo’s. Takes up less space, easier to clean and can tell what is in the lunch without opening it, which is helpful when packing different lunches!

After our second Bentgo outer shell broke apart at the hinges within a few months use, I was looking into alternate products. But I love this box so much for my preschoolers lunch I decided to get these inexpensive covers as a last effort to make it work. They are great! My four year old has a much easier time opening this than the shell & since this cover can sit under the tray during meal time there is no risk of it getting bumped off the table anymore. It’s not a rubber sealed, water tight lid but I’m not packing liquid like soups and so far we’ve had no leaking into other compartments with items like yogurt or cottage cheese or ketchup. Very happy!

These were practical for me to use for the kids. bc in the lunch bag there was more space. for days they wanted more items. top rack dishwasher. snap safely in place fast enough. good for fridge storage as mentioned in the product info.

These are great as an alternative if your regular lid for these great containers stopped working or breaks. We got these to replace the broken outer shell that originally came with the lunch containers. These lids are much more prone to leaking than the original outer shells so we could not for example have ketchup or hummus in one of the little portions, if we were using this lid. One benefit is they are smaller than the original outer shells, so if you have a tightly fitted lunch box these can be a benefit.
