Enjoy Life Baking White Chocolate Mini Chips, 9oz Bag

These are the perfect size chunk of chocolate for cookies with a statement! They hold their shape nicely and are even delicious right out of the bag. They are firm enough that there’s no “dust” in the bottom of the bag and I will be using them in many recipes.

I did not write this. It is directly from their marketing post. "Enjoy Life Dark Chocolate Morsels, Baking Chocolate Chips Bundle, Vegan, Dairy Free, Gluten Free, Nut Free, Kosher, Soy Free, Allergy Friendly, 6 Bags (9 oz), Bulk Chocolate" I had been getting a different brand of chocolate. The last time I got the other brand chocolate, it had melted inside the bag. We generally have very hot summer weather and I had figured the other brand would melt some. But not to the degree of melting I received. I started researching other brands to see if I could find something that would not melt as much. I decided to try "Enjoy Life" brand. I ordered a couple of bags to try for taste etc. I was pleasantly surprised that the chocolate did not melt. Even after sitting on the truck for delivery it was nice, fresh and unrelated. So the next time I needed chocolate, I ordered the six bag package. I received my Enjoy Life package 2 days ahead of schedule. But, when I opened the outside box and looked inside I found wadded up paper (to protect the packages, i assumed) I removed the paper and found a very curious item in the box. After examining it, I opened it. I found a "cooler" of of sorts inside! I opened it, it was made of a cotton like substance, and found a cool gel pack. Under the gel pack, I found 6 perfect bags of Enjoy Life dark chocolate. They were cool and not one one single bag had ANY lumps of melted chocolate in it! I was in awe and completely surprised and most definitely delighted to find my chocolate in tha condition. I am extremely pleased with the way my items were handled and the cate that was shown during packaging up the box for delivery. I will continue to purchase from Enjoy Life. If I ever need anything that Enjoy Life produces, I will always keep them as my first choice. If anyone ever asks for any recommendations, I will happily recommend Enjoy Life. I could continue on raving about this company, but I think you understand how I feel about there company. Thank you, Enjoy Life for your outstanding care and customer service.

These are great. They taste great, are healthy and the price for bulk is good too.

Love enjoy life products. However my delivery came and I retrieved it immediately. The white chocolate chips were melted. Difficulty finding near me however I won't order online again.

Had to go dairy free as I am breastfeeding a baby who is allergic to milk. I was so scared to buy these chocolate chips as usually allergen free foods typically don’t taste as good but these were so similar to the normal chocolate chips that i couldn’t really tell when I ate them! So excited to keep eating foods I like while staying dairy free!

The title says it all for me. I wanted these for baking! If they don't tell you, or you couldn't tell from the photo, these are MINI-CHOCOLATE CHIPS! My bags didn't have the words "Mini Chips", and no picture, so the manufacturer is in the process of learning/updating. They taste good/fine/chocolately when you eat them out of the bag. But, when you bake them into cookies, be prepared to make a smaller batch(use less flour, etc.), or use more than one bag! I was REALLY disappointed! I couldn't taste them at all! Because of how they tasted in hand, I thought they would be fine, but most recipes call for 2 cups chocolate chips = 1 bag of chocolate chips. Those are 12 oz bags. These are 10 oz bags. Who measures?? Well, I didn't measure. I think if I had used maybe 1 1/2 to 2 bags it might of been okay. Okay, so I didn't react soy-wise, but.... what's the good of being rid of the reactive element if you get rid of the flavor and enjoyment at the same time?! I might as well done plain cookies in that case! Or shortbread, then I wouldn't of expected chocolate-chip flavor, ya know?!? If you can find the "right" bag of Dagoba (Organic Chocolate) Chocodrops 73% cacao content, in the baking section, read the label [one bag HAD soy lecithin; the other one from another store didn't-of course I bought it, and they really didn't have the soy lecithin, how odd. April 2011], they are a much better choice, choco chip size-wise. The Dagoba's were an accident find. Unfortunately, these are only 8 oz. (not 12), but the flavor stands up to the baking. You probably want to add vanilla to complement. * I got mine from Whole Food's Market. This isn't something you typically find at Safeway or Lucky's Market, FYI. I will make it a point to re-bake using two bags and see what happens and add a comment

To be clear, if I was to rate the product only, it's a 5 start hands down. These choc. chips are amazing. However, anyone considering this product should know that although the title says "Enjoy Life Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, Gluten, Dairy, nut & Soy Free, Mini Chips, 10-Ounce Bags (PACK OF 6)", when ordering only 1 pack (not 6 as the title indicates) is provided. When I inquired with Amazon as to where the remaining 5 packs were, I was told there were no more in stock and I was refunded the money. However a quick check online shows that Amazon is still selling this product as in stock and the title remains the same. Buyer Beware.

So excited to have choc chips that I can use in my cooking that don't have any dairy, gluten, egg or soy. I've tasted them too and they are yum like dark chocolate should be.

I love that this 5lb bulk bag is availiable and it's great when it's on sale! I have dietary health restrictions and most of the foods that I can have are very expensive.
