Purchased for irritated gums and mouth, but did not have to use it, so I am keeping it for next time.

Well not Neosporin. It was more liquidy. I don’t know that it has as much pain reliever in it, but you certainly get a whole lot more for your money.

I have something call Burning Mouth Syndrome (it's as fun as it sounds) and I've used this rub for years. Most of the medicated rubs can only be used two or three times a day and they completely numb your mouth tissue. This can be used as often as needed because it's using natural ingredients. It takes away the pain but it doesn't cause complete numbness. Unlike the medicated stuff, it doesn't taste bitter - it tastes like mint! I honestly couldn't live, or sleep, without this!

The positive reviews on this product are right! This rub saved my mouth and I can eat again! I had a painful issue with the gum area around a back molar that 2 dentists couldn't figure out. After x-rays, deep cleanings and antibiotics (and an empty wallet) all they could do was tell me to come back if it bothered me again or to live with it. Well, I wasn't going to do that. I happened to read about this product on Medical Medium's blog, so I immediately ordered it. I am so happy I did because this stuff works miracles! I'm not kidding when I say this. It works. My gum area is free of pain, I can eat again, the swelling is gone, and I'm one happy chick. I put the gel on several times a day and in 1 day the pain began to disappear, in 2 days I could eat on that side and in less than a week the area was normal. I can't say enough about this wonderful product! I will always have it on hand knowing how fabulous it works.

This gel works well when I get a toothache. It can take forever to get into the dentist, so this helps make it bearable between visits. It fits into my pocket and I don't have to worry about it leaking when I'm away from home too.

I was looking for some kind of mint rub like this, not numbing effect gel, since I tend to have sore spot in my gum due to toothbrush rub. I just wish the mint being a little stronger.
