Q: how comfortable are these to wear? are they bulky and restrictive or thin? what do you NOT like about them?

They are very comfortable to wear. They do seem small out of the box, but they do fit nicely after wearing them. I just don't know how long they will last. I've had them for 6 months. No issues yet. The material seems like spandex for your hands, but has key point where they sew in leather.

Q: Where does the adjustable wrap/strap fall in relation to the buttons of the apple watchultra? gloves with a strap on top of the wrist may hit buttons.

I have no problems you can get medical tape and rap that area, or just rap your gloves over the button.
