I can sew, but who wants to drag out the sewing machine, cut out the felt, find matching thread, plug all that in, and sew dots onto a red shirt and shorts? Ain't nobody got time for that. These adhesive dots saved me lots of time and aggravation. Until, that is, the wearer of said ladybug costume, an active 5-year-old, decided to sit, roll around on a hay ride, and just generally behave like a 5-year-old does. Also - will they survive the washer? I have enough common sense not to risk the dryer.Yes, they stick to cotton clothing (t-shirt material), which is half the battle. They are worth the convenience, I'd say. But it's helpful to be aware of thei limitations.

I purchased these to use as buttons to make a snowman shirt for my children. It was a bit. I really liked them and they easily pulled off but you to be careful to pull all the adhesive off. Some of the black was still left on the shirt but I was able to get it off. However, I had to throw them away after I pulled them off. They were not reusable.

I like these but they are so thin it took three of them before the bottom of the candelabra didn't touch the wood surface that I was trying to protect.

Perfect for what I needed. Used on a poker table that was being refinished.

Perfect quick halloween costume! Being a busy time at work, I didn't have time to sew kids' costumes this year but we stuck them on a red tunic and leggings and she had a simple, quick Ladybug costume! They stayed really well except for the ones that fell directly behind her knees and on her thighs, which was totally understandable. Those peeled a little but didn't actually fall off, so it was good! So much faster than cutting or sewing by hand.

The felt circles were purchased to place on the bottom of turned wooden bud vases. More choices in sizes would be nice, but they do cut easily with scissors BEFORE removing the backing. When removing the backing do not pull hard as it will stretch the felt into an oblong shape. Also, barely hold the felt at the edge, as this will mostly avoid again stretching the disks. When they are applied the adhesive really makes them stick firmly. They make a nice finishing touch on the wood vases.
