MegaStrike incorporated their award winning technology of the Evolution Jig to the head. ( "e2" for EVOLUTION) What we have done is develop the most universal shaky head ever designed. The head lands the correct way every time you use the bait. There is a fulcrum on the bottom of the bait which is a balancing point. What that does is hydro dynamically balance the head. The e2 Shakey Head lands on that fulcrum every time . It keeps the bait in an upright position and keeps the nose down and the tail up off the bottom. There is a counter balance head which allows the bait to roll forward every time the bait is moved. In place of a typical ball shaped head in the front, MegaStrike's New e2 Shakey Head has incorporated a football style head to give it even more stability from falling over on its side. MegaStrike's e2 Shakey Head is the first to offer a dual rigging system so the angler can rig the bait exposed hook (for open water situations) and weedless for fishing the heaviest and thickest cover. The New e2 Shakey Head is powder coated NOT painted for fishing around rocky conditions. We offer Mustad Ultra-point hooks for Sharpness-strength and durability. We recessed the eye of the hook into the head of the bait to decrease the heads snagging ability.

Jig Head falls on its side!
The concept of this jig is great, but the problem is it doesn't work as designed! The head fails to sit on the bottom and falls on its side upon contact with anything making it useless!

Shakey head
I like these, they work well casting or slow trolling.

I like these as they get the bait up from the bottom.
Seem to get better hook sets on these as the angle of the hook is higher, less missed strikes.

Great Jig Heads!
The best shakey head jig heads I have found. These are incredible and out perform all my other jig heads. Amazing how they always stand up, seldom get snagged on underwater structure and always ensure good hook sets with their laser sharp hooks.

Works well
Does exactly as I expected. Balances quite well for both casting or ice fishing. Will flip over from time to time if you're fishing the river, but nothing major. Of note, doesn't work well with standard leaders or wireless leader clips. Something to consider if you're fishing for Pike or Walleye. I had to tie 30 pound flouro line directly too it, as I couldn't get the leader clip through the head. But beyond that, nothing major.

The finishing around the eyelet was rough and jagged, and kept cutting my line (8lbs Fluoro) had to get a small file and clean it up.
