Hi, this item requires electric and must be plugged in. It is provided with a DC adapter working with 110-240V with regular US prongs. Work both in US, Canada and Mexico.

Our Starlight diffuser measures 3.5" in diameter on the base and the height is 5.6". It holds 90ml water and has a run time of 4 hours for continuous run time and 7 hours for intermittent function that is 30 seconds on and 30 seconds off.

Hello, Starlight as we call this unit is an Ultrasonic Diffuser and operate with Water and drops of Essential Oil. This model does not operate with Wax melts.
