Worked as a perfect replacement
Used this as a replacement on my personal build. It’s a 1:1 match, so I didn’t notice any difference—it worked perfectly

Best board I’ve had in years.
I picked this up to replace an ASRock board I had a lot of trouble with over the years.Unlike the AsRock board this Asus board has been everything I expected with zero hassles.Bios updates from within the Bios.Posted on the first boot.Handles dual RX 480 GPU with no problems.Windows detected all the drivers without any need to install Asus’s drivers (I installed them anyway but didn’t really need to).Easy overclocking built right into the bios.Just an excellent board. I should have just picked up Asus the first time rather than trying to save a few bucks with ASRock.

Nice tiny board, insufficient power supply info
This is a great little board. At the time I write this, there is finally a case available (the Silverstone VT01) which will actually hold it, though I haven't actually received it yet. But the board itself runs fine with 32GB of RAM and an i5-6600, and of course it's stunningly tiny given the amount of computing power it can have. For a cooler, note that you may not be able to use the stock Intel one, depending on the case you intend to use. I'm using the Silverstone NT07-115X (23mm), as it's short enough to fit in the VT01 case (maximum clearance 34mm). The Silverstone AR04 (also 23mm) fits vertically, but it doesn't fit particularly well on the board as I found the heat pipes to interfere. However, I do have to dock a star: There's no power supply included (which is fine in itself) and the documentation Asus provides doesn't really help in choosing one. They tell you the voltage and suggested wattage for various types of CPU. And of course the ones which work on the Asus thin mini-ITX boards don't fit this board, for reasons. Eventually (after buying the wrong thing) I found that the following two supplies work fine:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DN9NAHE (120W)https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CVF34HC (90W)Those are both by Oneda but I'd assume that any 19V power supply of sufficient wattage for the CPU in use with a jack measuring 5.5mm OD and 2.5mm ID would work OK. In any case, Asus really should have put that directly in the manual.

Lot of hardware issues with this product. DO NOT BUY
To begin with, one of the DIMM socket did not work. With 2 DIMMs inserted, BIOS did not start. Tried to take out 1 DIMM at a time and power up.Once the DIMM removed from faulty socket, system booted-up. After that Installed OS.After 1 day, system did not bootup at all. Found that the CPU fan spins for few seconds and shuts and then restarts. This will go on for ever.Did not expect such a bad quality product from ASUS. This was my 10 Asus motherboard. Never had problems with the Asus product before. Looks like, Asus released this product in a hurry without proper validation.I have just order AUSUS VIVOSTICK from Amazon. hope this works.Wanted claim refund from Amazon. But Amazon support person asked me to return the product to get refund.I ordered this product from Singapore. Cost to ship back this product to US is same the cost of the product. Hence, it is not worth to claim refund from Amazon. I will and request for refund without shipping back this product.

Easy Build, Just Works, with Kaby Lake I5-7500
ASUS PRIME H270M-PLUS/CSM LGA1151 DDR4 HDMI DVI VGA M.2 H270 mATX Motherboard with USB 3.1The motherboard works great!. Paired it with the latest I5-7500, Samsung 850 EVO - 250GB - M.2 Internal SSD, Ripjaws V Series 16GB DDR4, ,SeaSonic G Series 550-Watt Power Supply, in a Rosewill ATX Mid Tower Gaming Computer Case Stryker M.It was an easy build, everything fit, and worked on initial turn-on. M.2 internal SSD gives super fast boot of Win10. Motherboard has lots of usb3 ports. The only thing I need to add for this case was a fan splitter, because the motherboard only supports 2 case fans (The Rosewill case has 3).The usual Asus quality -- everything just works!

I would buy this board again, works great with Ubuntu 16.04
This is a good board. Only had two issues installing the board: one was that for a few mount points the screws were slightly too short, but this may be a case issue, not a motherboard issue; the other was that when I connected the case panel connectors to the board it wasn't immediately clear which pins the cable should connect to for the RESET switch. The board had 3 pins and the cable had 2. The manual did not give guidance for that. Turned out that it needed to connect to ground, and not Vdd.I installed Ubuntu 16.04 in UEFI mode on an SSD, and it has been working fine for a month. Note I had to put the RAM in slot 2 rather than slot 1 in order for the system to boot.I like the two orange LEDs.

It works for miners
I'm a loyalty fan of Asus's mother board product, because they are easy to build and last a long time due to superiority quality control. Asus Prime H270-Plus is not an exception. It is my first experience in building computer rig case, so I don't have any idea to compare with other mother boards. I used Intel Celeron C3900 CPU with it. It seemed to work fine with the first 7 GPUs (a mixed of AMD and Nvidia) with 2 PSUs (Corsair HX1050 and Corsair HX750). I have been running it for 2 weeks now with out any mother issue. I know it is to early to tell. I will post when I encounter any problem in the future.

Completely Destroyed CPU Hub
It was fairly simple to put into my PC, besides the I/O hub that was... "painful" to say the least, which I ended up not even successfully putting in, but after getting all the parts together, I ended up putting everything together, fairly fine, a lot of issues were with my case really, but that's irrelevant. Anyway, I went to install the CPU, and noticed that the matrix was completely bent out of shape in a few spots all over the hub. It took some prying and a LOT of patience, but that didn't resurrect it from not working after testing it that way either. It was practically a brick before I tried running it, and practically a brick after I was done. So yay, I get to spend a bunch more money on a new board. Again...
