Great invention
Great idea and works well...2 things not ideal..1. Cheese Grater did not function as well as anticipated.2. Holds about 35% of a full rectangular cheese loaf. More than that and block gets "stuck" in the back from moisture and nearly breaks it trying to wind it out, be cautious, it is plastic... The rear of the holder it tapered smaller so watch the directionwhen inserting loaf!Still using ours but could use a little more engineering. 😊

Better than I expected
Buying a cheese slicer is challenging at best. Most promise but do not deliver, but this one does. It is very easy to use and keeps the cheese fresh. I was very impressed with not only the ease to use but also the nice appearence.

Buyer Beware!
Just received this a few days ago. Will definitely be returning it! It is impossible for be to change the different blades! Very poor design! Wish I read reviews before purchasing.

Nice Idea but not Quite There
Okay, so this is one of those kitchen gadgets that will make sense to some and seem silly to others, so... let's cover that!First this takes a brick of cheese that you would normally throw into a zip like plastic back into your fridge or snack drawer and makes it... large. This is not a great thing for those who have space issues in your refrigerator. It also comes with two blades that need storage, so outside the fridge drawer space. Overall, this will make your cheese take up more space no matter what size it is because, well it doesn't shrink with your cheese size at all. It's just more space overall.Storage wise though, it seems good. I mean the plastic zips are... okay with storing cheese, but they don't really prolong it so much as keep it from getting hard... IF everyone involved actually closes it properly. Big iff there. The storage doesn't seem better than plastic... maybe about the same. It's certainly easier not to loose your cheese in the back of other things with this though because of size but prolonging... not really buy int. This brings us to the slicing portion of the review. Does it work... yes. Is it faster... umm, well... Here is the thing. If you have a food processor, stand mixer or anything else that just destroys cheese when you want it shredded faster, well this not faster. Not even close. This might really handy if you just want a little shredded cheese or a minimum about things taken out to shred it. For the sharp challenged though, like those that are not good or avoid knives or those who worry their about to take their knuckles off on a traditional shredder, this might be worthwhile. It's slow but I don't really picture someone doing something so ridiculously clumsy or questionable that they're going to hurt themselves so... plus! The plastic seems okay, in terms of the build. I think someone with challenge hands or fingers might have a pretty hard time getting the storage lid on and off. It's pretty firm to get it on and off, and that's just not going to work for someone that hurts. The dial on the side is... awkward. I mean it's handy for pushing the brick forward to get a nice clean slice works but it seems... cumbersome. Like I just kind of want to push it forward and get precise slices but it's not really designed the way you'd think it would be in order to do that. For most, this is going to be a fun thing to use a couple of times forget. Other options are just faster and takes up for less space. For some though, this slow and can't really screw it up too bad approach might work. I wanted this to be a universal, better mousetrap kind of offering, but the more I used it the more I thought it really isn't that. For reference, I used a standard 2lb black of Bandon Cheddar Cheese. Which is another problem because, well you can only use one brick at a time with this, at least until you shrink it enough, and there is no circumstance I can imagine someone having two of these in their space.Nice idea but not quite there.

Convenient
This is a handy little kitchen gadget that we use daily. Is it over engineered? Yes. Do I still love it? Also yes. Makes storing and slicing cheese a breeze!

Great in theory, but has a lot of unfortunate design choices
Like many of you, I ran here from TikTok to grab one of these bad boys. The price point was a bit 'ugh' but I figured it'd be worth it because we could buy the whole block of cheese and store it, slicing what we need as we go, right? Wrong. Let's break it down.*The locking lid is very tight, and has a rubber seal so our cheese is always hella fresh. Unfortunately, it's so tight that I worry about it's longevity. Plastic is prone to snapping.*The entire device is smaller than you'd expect. We were thinking we could cut a square block of cheese in half and it would fit inside, but we ended up quartering the block of cheese just to get it to fit, which means I now have to store the rest of the cheese elsewhere.*The channels that hold the handle'd pieces are not lubricated, and even after drizzling a tiny bit of oil in there the attachments don't glide smoothly. Everything is very slow and jerky, which is 'okay' for the wire cutter, but if you had any hopes of using The Cheese Chopper to replace your cheese grater bell/box thing, I'd reconsider.*As seen in my pictures, the wire doesn't even go all the way to the bottom of the sliding board, which means there's always a bit of cheese stuck to the board that you have to pry off. A waste of precious cheese :c*The knob on the side slides the cheese plate in and out, cool. The problem is that the knob is so close to the front of the device that you can't turn it properly and have to resort to gently twisting it like you're trying to break into an old timey vault in a western movie's bank while listening for the tumblers. This is an accessibility issue as well.*We haven't cleaned ours yet, but I'm already anticipating that it won't be easy or satisfying. There's no way to remove the cheese plate, which means soap/water will collect underneath it. The ports on either side are through-and-through though, so you can use a straw cleaner in there no problem. In summation, it's a great idea, but I think another look at the drawing board would be helpful in terms of cleanliness, space, and accessibility, which would likely lead to more sales and better reviews. I don't regret buying The Cheese Chopper, but I'm a little miffed that I spent this much money on something that is always mildly annoying to use.

Excellent Customer Service
I bought a cheese chopper a Lt over a year ago (4/2/22), stored a block of cheese in it and used the chopper blade to slice cheese of varying thicknesses with no problems. I lost the geared tray that holds and advances the cheese so I contacted Mr. Cheese; the only question he asked was “what is a good address to ship the replacement parts to.” NO CHARGE! I received the parts today (less than a week after my email). Excellent customer service and quick response!Thank you Mr Cheese! I highly recommend this product.
