A Hot Tub for only $30!
I picked up a free hot tub the other day from a nearby town. The owner said it didn't work, and it was free to anyway who would haul it away. We picked it up and took it home. Over the weekend I got it up and running, but it refused to put it's 2-speed pump into high speed. I went over the circuit board circuitry with a fine tooth comb, and could find nothing wrong. Since it was 17 years old (and free!), I decided to get creative, with this air switch. I bought a garbage disposal air button and mounted it on the tub skirting. I then hooked the pump power relay output to the switch common, and the high/low leads from the pump to the two switch poles. Now, I can easily toggle between high and low speeds without affecting any other spa functions! It works great and my "Free, Non-working Hot Tub" now works perfectly and the family is ecstatic! And it only cost me about $30. I'd say that's a score!

Did the job
Used it to fix my in-sink-erator push button. Part dropped right in everything lined up perfectly. Easy fix!

Perfect replacement for my spa tub
Works perfectly with the Intermatic RC6F Air button which I installed at the same time. This is a locking switch meaning pushing and releasing the air button once, the motor it controls turns on and stays on. Push and release the air button again and the motor turns off. Just what I needed to fix my 10 year old bathtub with jets but it would work with any electrical device, just like an electrical switch but safer.

It was just as the picture showed
I used it in my Jacuzzi tub the price was much cheaper and it work well .

Just What I Needed!
I have to admit, it took me a while to realize this was the part I needed when the air button to my spa motor stopped working. But, this air switch is an exact match to my original, and was easy to install. I'd be stuck without it!

Does Not Reliably Reset When Pressure Drops
This is a latch switch -> does not work with areator septic. Will open when pressure applied, does not close when pressure removed.

Non-functional for aerobic aerator alarm
I bough 2 of these from different brand names. Both switches mal-function in the same manner. Both switches would activate with positive pressure being applied. However both switches would not reset when positive pressure was removed. This lack of reset or return to non-pressurized state of the switch make these switches unreliable for use with an aerobic aerator alarm system. These defects could well be a symptom of a bad lot in manufacturing or inadequate quality control. Therefore performance 1 star, value for money 1 star, ease of installation 4 to 5 stars there is one common terminal on top and two below with a hard to read switch schematic indicating current pathway when not pressurized to the lower terminals. Addendum this is a latching switch and I required a momentary switch for proper activation of alarm with pressure loss. rating changed from 1 to 4 stars.
