Lambs & Ivy Ballerina Wallpaper Border, Hello Kitty (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

I got this to go around all 4 walls of my daughter's nursery. It matches her bedding and the whole hello kitty ballerina theme is super cute. I originally thought the back was a "sticker" wall decal, but it's more of a "wet and paste" like older postal stamp. I was afraid that it might ruin the paint job so I didn't want to "paste" anything long on the wall. Instead, I nailed it on with clear thumbtacks. It works and you can't really see the thumbtacks. There were a few shorter pieces that went around the corners and windows, so I did "paste" them. The instructions says to "loosely submerge strip in water." I didn't do that. First, I positioned the strip with thumbtacks on the wall. Then, I flipped 1/2 of the strip back and sprayed water on the back with a regular spray bottle. Making sure all the surfaces were wet, I lightly rubs the water into the glue with my finger. Then after putting the strip back against the wall, I rubbed/padded it into place with a dry paper towel, which removed any excess water dripping down. Once the section was securely in place, I moved to the other 1/2. (I assume if your strip was longer, you might need to do this in sections, cause 1/2 would be too long.)
