Nylon Canvas HugglePod HangOut with LED Lights, in Blue

We love our hugglepod, but some of the stitching is already coming undone. I wish it were a bit more sturdy for the price paid :).Update: I am hoping this comes with a warranty because after limited use on kids with a weight grand total of 90lbs, indoor use only, and 4 months of use this has stitching coming apart and has ripped in spots. I will update if there is a warranty and I get a replacement canvas.

Great idea-very poor construction for the price!We gave this to my kids for Christmas 10 days ago. Together they weigh 60lbs and the one child doesn't like to be in there, so let's highball and say it's been used 4 times for about 20minutes a piece-INDOORS. The zipper that holds the cushion in is completely broken! It popped open and off the track just from having my 40lb daughter laying in it! I cannot get the zipper back on track without completely removing it and putting in a new one. It's very upsetting to pay that much money for something only to have it start breaking down in less then two weeks from limited use. I'm very nervous about the safety of this product for my kids. What if the seam that holds the hook rips next?! I would NOT recommend this product!

This product is awesome. My kids are hooked! My 7 and 9 year old LOVED this Xmas morning present and jumped right in when they saw it hanging in the living room. They settled in with blankets, snuggies, books and Kindles, and eventually took turns or played together in the pod. (I also enjoyed some quiet time in the pod when the kids were out! The pod really does create a private room within a room and is so cozy. I almost took a nap...)This lost a star because the assembly rods for the pod were difficult to thread through the canvas—even while the pod was hanging as instructed—and were difficult to push and screw together. It was definitely a two-person job to thread the rods, then one connection just would not fit together properly. For all the other connections, my husband had to strain against the tension to hold the rods in just the right position so the holes aligned while I struggled to thread the tiny screw.One additional note: If you use the designated Hugglepod base with this, it is HUGE, but it was super-easy to put together and clearly is incredibly strong and sturdy. No way can the kids tip this thing over.

My 12 year old daughter sleeps in this, hangs out in this with her other 12 year old friend…its pretty amazing- We live in a small house- and this gives her even more options for quiet downtime in her smallish bedroom. Im going to hang out in it when no one is looking- wish I had one…my 15 year old son is envious…its awesome- glad I got this- and its super easy to put together- my 12 year old daughter and I did it in 15 minutes.

Got one for our five year old, and as other reviewers has noted, the kid took right to it. I installed it indoors. The biggest pain was creating an attachment to the ceiling that I knew would match the 250 pound weight limit of the unit. Ask me how if you need help. The instructions say about 2 hours to put together but that's a rough estimate. I think it took me around 4 for everything. It's not an easy install. Not hard, but not easy. Very well made product. Super rugged material and very well stitched. We often, climb in there with our kid to read a book (we are light adults). Kid often uses this as his go-to space retreat. Super glad we made the purchase.

I purchased for my 10 year old Autistic son so he would have a place to hide and relax. It's a huge hit. All my kids love it. It holds up to 250 pounds so the whole family can use it one at a time. My 16 year old uses it as a quiet place to read. She brings the dog in with her and the dog loves it! I have it hanging in a tree. The only thing I would tell people to think about is where they will store it. It shouldn't be left out in the rain so you'll need a place to put it when you need to bring it in.

Our son loves his hanging tent. It is very sturdy, was easy to put together and is a very nice size. We would recommend this to anyone who has a kid who would enjoy a hanging tent or fort!

Sturdy, and the lights on the inside are so fun. We love it!
