Plantronics Amplifier Coil Cord to QD Modular Plug, 26716-01

Pretty simple - cord connector works, headset that is plugged into it works well. Using it with a basic Plantronics / Poly headset.

Considering this was much cheaper than most vendors sell this cable, I thought it might be a generic compatible one and an inaccurate listing. However, I was pleasantly surprised to get the real Plantronics cable, it's just in an OEM package plain plastic bag instead of a retail package. It has the Plantronics name molded into the breakaway connector, and I compared it to the other one I had that came with my Plantronics headset, and it definitely appears to be the exact same thing. It works perfectly.

None of the three cords ordered work. Plus, the return window closed before the item was received. Now, today, I can't return an item that doesn't work. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

Purchased this as a replacement for the cable that was originally recommended with my headset, since it didn't work. This was purchased Friday afternoon and received on Monday morning.Completely plug and play. Not set up. Just plug and go. Plenty long if you need to move about a bit too.I wish this had been displayed with the headset initially as an option, but the fast shipping more than makes up for the slight inconvenience of having to re-order.

There's not much to say about a cord, other than: it works, and it seems solidly constructed, so I think it will continue to work.The quick-connect feature was new to me, though. It is pretty easy to disconnect, and I have occasionally switched to another device* on the fly, though it's fairly difficult to break the connection accidentally. Unless you forget to take off your headset and stand up - then, it's kind enough to release rather than attempt to yank your head off at the ears.All in all, satisfactory.(*you can also buy a QD cord with a 3.5mm speaker plug, so you can switch a call to your cell or softphone and continue the conversation without removing the headset)

What can I say, it does the job it is suppose to do. Plantronics should tell you when you are ordering the headset that this is seperate, but they don't.

At first, because the photo didn't show a clear view of the connectors,I had difficulty trusting the description, however, this is the exact item that is needed, and I'm overjoyed!!! I dislike having to return anything. It's more work.The price is excellent! Even with shipping, the cost is way lower than if I had bought this from Plantronics, our office supply company, Office Depot, or Staples; I checked:} Also, I received the connectors very quickly, and way ahead of the scheduled delivery time. Now, that's the best service, EVER!!!!I'll continue to buy these connectors, and possibly other products from Headset World on Amazon. Both of you have made this consumer VERY, VERY HAPPY. You're the BEST!!!!!
