I ordered the LETMY brand mainly because it was 'on-sale', but also because these style flashlights are versatile, well-made, and have a long service life. My affinity for these torches is for their light weight and terrific beam throw - ideal for camping & hiking along with being an ideal size for emergency use. Both units of this 2-pack of lights worked flawlessly after battery insertion (NOTE: Batteries NOT included); they're easy to switch light modes by short-pressing the tailcap switch - zoomable high, medium, low brightness, strobe function, and SOS flashing rounding out their versatility. One final note of particular interest to me is that these lights include a battery sleeve for adapting the long-lasting 18650 lithium ion battery as a power source. Incredibly cheap and decently built.Most important detractor: The need to click through 5 different beam modes each time you turn the light on. I'm guessing this is why they are so cheap.The 18650 mode of the flashlight works really well, nice to be able to use large rechargeable batteries.Quite bright.Overall a flawed flashlight, but for under $4 each these are a steal.

Lightweight & powerful

Bright light! Small, compact and easy to use. This is my second purchase of these lights from this seller. The first set was purchased over a year ago and both lights are still as bright as the day I bought them.Well, packaged, quick delivery. I highly recommend them.

Make no mistake about it, I bought these flashlights because of the price. Are they great flashlights? Not really, but at this price point they have their place.What I liked:1. Can use 3 AAA batteries or 1 18650 sized Lithium rechargeable battery. Disposable AAAs are easy to replace, but the 18650 Lithium has distinct advantages. Lithium batteries won't leak and destroy the flashlight. Lithium batteries self-discharge far, far more slowly than NiMH rechargeable AAA batteries, so you are far less likely to find the flashlight dead when you really need to use it.2. The flashlight is moderately bright, especially if your only experience is old fashioned incandescent flashlights.3. The price is so low for a pair of flashlights that if they die, its no big deal.What I don't like:1. As Lithium rechargeable battery flashlights go, these are pretty much the low end. There is no built in charging, limited water protection, and no under-charge or reverse battery polarity protection.2. The zoom mechanism does allow lighting more distant targets, but at the price of wasting much of the light.3. These flashlights are pretty dim compared to better Lithium rechargeable battery flashlights. This is mostly a function of the choice of LED and the driver circuits. Both are low end.4. The LED driver circuit is apparently the most basic kind. The light will slowly dim as the battery discharges, rather than holding steady. This driver design can potentially over discharge your battery and end the battery's life.5. The description is ridiculously over-optimistic. This doesn't affect the flashlight, but I value an honest description.Summary:For the price, these are cheap emergency/camping flashlight and do provide reasonable light. Just don't expect anything special.
