Colored Glitter Art Kit, Dresses (DJ09500)

My daughter enjoyed the kit but my one complaint was the blue glitter is not as pictured. It's almost as though it has white or pale pink glitter mixed in with it, so you end up with a very washed out blue (it barely looks blue at all...and almost looks as though you didn't cover the space entirely with glitter as the pink (or white?) glitter just makes it look like "holes" in your coverage). The other colors are great. Also, we have used the sand kits before and those have a tiny hole in the corner of the box, so you can tap your sand all over the picture, shake it off into the box, and then use that hole to pour your excess back into the tube. The glitter set doesn't have this feature for whatever reason, and as a result we ended up having to use regular craft glitter we had on hand to complete the last picture. Beautiful pictures, just a few areas for improvement.

The pictures, as usual for Djeco, are gorgeous. The kit is very similar to the sand art kit that Djeco makes-- you peel off labels with a number corresponding to a specific color. Underneath is adhesive that holds the glitter in place. My daughter and I prefer the sand art kit for two reasons: 1) the sand art pictures' peel off areas include the entire image, whereas the peel off areas on the glitter pictures is limited to certain parts of the dress and small portions of the background. 2) as other reviews have indicated, the glitter is pretty fine and gets everywhere, sticks to everything, and is difficult to clean off of surfaces, skin, etc. overall, I thought the sand art images were more vibrant and the sand color corresponded better to the colors shown in the included booklet (e.g. one of the glitters should have been more of a green but was actually a white peppered with green and gray glitter. This would have been fine, but my daughter insisted that we couldn't use the glitter from the tube straight but had to mix in other glitter colors to achieve the same shade as in the booklet. Talk about messes... Anyway, it's art and creating a new color is creative, and messy art is good, but I thought the booklet was misleading by showing the wrong color glitter). The sand art kit we have is Birds of Paradise-- really fun and pretty and much less mess!

These boards are beautiful and my 6 year old/1st grade daughter can do them by herself once I showed her how to sweep the excess glitter back into the tube. The box it comes in is well constructed and contains the glitter mess. This craft is worth the price - we're already on our second box. I have started searching for other Djeco products as they are truly beautiful and well made.

Arrived on time and is a fun art project. We've done quite a few of these. And the glitter ones are easier to get a nice quality finished product then the foil ones. Some reason we can just never get the foil to not look wrinkly. But the sand ones in the glitter ones always look lovely. Very satisfying to do. We give them as birthday gifts.

I used this kit as an activity for a group of 7 year old girls. They loved it, even though they needed some help from their parents to get the job done. The design is well above your typical craft for this age. Parents appreciated the novelty. Overall it was worth the $17 spent. Each kid went home with an art job that was pretty enough to hang up on the wall.

Cute, but with other djeco products lacks the real creative process. In the end it looks amazing and kudos for the designers, but take a minute guys to design something that give some creative control to the little ones. 4 stars for actually making something beautiful again.

I bought this as a project for me an my grandchildren. Of the three different kinds of Dejeco items I purchased, this was one of my favorites. This glitter is easy to work with and there was more than enough to do all four panels. Highly recommend. .

this was a gift to my granddaughter in co she just loved it she finished 3 pages the day it arrived thanks for a great product that she enjoyed so much

Il set contiene: quattro illustrazioni, sei contenitori di lustrini (sei differenti colori), una spatolina, un pennello ed un libretto di istruzioni.Ho acquistato il set delle sirene per mia figlia, dopo che le era stato regalato quello dei "pesci colorati", anch'esso della DJECO, del quale era rimasta molto entusiasta.Tuttavia, non è rimasta pienamente soddisfatta di questo set. Sia le illustrazioni sia l'utilizzo dei lustrini le è piaciuto molto; quello che non le è piaciuto è che, a differenza del set dei "pesci colorati", solo poche parti delle illustrazioni sono da riempire con i lustrini (molto piccole confrontate con l'intera illustrazione).Il risultato finale è comunque gradevole e le illustrazioni possono essere utilizzate come "quadretti" per decorare la cameretta.Lo consiglio come elemento di decoro di una cameretta, in quanto poco impegnativo da realizzare.Nel caso in cui si preferisca impegnare maggiormente i bambini in modo creativo, consiglio il set "Sabbia - Pesci colorati" che permette di riempire ogni area dell'illustrazione con sabbioline colorate e lustrini, per un risultato finale davvero eccellente.
