Jim Krueger gets these characters. He understands them, the world they inhabit, and he knows us too. Justice is a story about people -- not superheroes -- people. As comics readers know, DC struggles to humanize its corral of characters with the ease of its competition. Krueger doesn't share this struggle. His sweeping tale of the JLA and the humanization of the world in which the team lives is equal parts creative genius and believable. The Alex Ross finishes over Doug Braithwaite's layouts is the perfect compliment. Do yourself a favor. Pick up this book.

Alex Ross non si smentisce mai.Il volume è di lunghezza piu' che accettabile al prezzo di copertina rigida.L'arte manco a parlarne, è super! roba di prima qualità del mitico Ross.La storia è intrigante e ben articolata, ti tiene incollato al volume fino alla fine.Imperdibile per tutti i fans di supereroi, sia di vecchia data che giovani!

Even before opening the book, the beautiful artwork by Alex ross will be the first thing that catches you eye. The story is also among one of the justice league's greatest, at least according to me. The sheer number of heroes and villains they were able to fit into the story without any single one of them feeling like they are in there just to fill the space is also astounding. Overall, I feel like it's a really good read, more so for experienced DC readers but also definitely enjoyable for newcomers with just the very basic knowledge of the characters as well.
