Intermediate Algebra Skills Practice Workbook with Answers: Functions, Radicals, Polynomials, Conics, Systems, Inequalities, and Complex Numbers

Pick up what you missed or slept through in class with effective, concise instructions on each topic. Know that you're not wasting your time, since all of these skills will be used ad nauseum in every following class if you're heading down the math trail. Best of all: These books don't need a teacher to explain them, since there are NO SKIPPED STEPS in the answer section. The author doesn't address the audience as if they already have 750 PhDs in math like way too many other textbooks do. I'm not finished with the book yet, but I'll wager that doing the Algebra from any textbook, or the book from the same author, will be 200% easier than NOT having these intermediate steps at least in a somewhat familiar relationship. The book won't break your bank either, worth your time & $$.

Excellent for a refresher of Beginning Algebra. Chapters in the workbook are easy to follow. You can work the problems directly in the workbook and the answers are provided in the back of the book.

I love the format and love that it comes with an answer key. 🙂I wish that the "How to solve" sections were simplified a bit more, like how Organic Chemistry Tutor, on YouTube, simplifies problems.I would like if he had three different examples for Easy, hard and Complex problems.Overall, I like the book and I would like to give more of these workbooks a shot.

This book is another superb book written by Dr. McMullen. All the books of this author are superb and offered in a very low price. This book like all his other work is well organized and explained in simple understandable terms
