I was shocked when I went to install my new flag pole, Very much let down with the quality and returning this item...1.) The "Rope Cleat" is plastic2.) The top piece with the pulley is plastic, Very cheap3.) Top 2 sections are not 2" in diameter as advertised... Narrows down. (Note they say: Package Include:7x Sections Poles (2" diameter))4.) The Top Ball was missing, not even included5.) The flag is "Made in China" and is incredibly light weight (I can live with light weight, but flag must be made in the USA..... )Other than that, I guess it is ok.... UGH! I do not recommend this Flag Pole, and I will not fly a Chinese Flag. This item in my book is not worth the time and is a bad deal even at 99 cents and free shipping... Unless you are going to recycle the aluminum and burn the flag!This is Truly the worst product that I have purchased from Amazon...

Great product but description clearly states :Free Gifts: 3'x5' American Flag 100% Made in USA keep bright for a long time; Gold Aluminum Ball ornament unique aluminum alloy and gold anodized finish glossy, long-lasting decor; heavy duty 19.6" PVC sleeve to protect the bottom of the telescopic flagpole against corrosion. The gold ball is not aluminum it was cheap plastic and was cracked. The flag was made in China and had a tag on it stating that. I have contacted the seller. Seller answered my inquiry immediately and is sending a replacement. They have also corrected the product description. This is a good company with great customer service and a quality product at a great price. The damage to my shipment was caused by UPS not due to package prep by the company.

I ordered this flag pole as a birthday present for my husband. This is the second pole I've ordered and had the same problem. The cap at the top of the second section of each pole is not attached and the section will not telescope up, so instead of a 20 foot pole, I have a 16 foot pole. This is very disappointing as I really liked the idea of a telescoping pole for the ease of raising and lowering the flag and I definitely need the 20 foot height. Will go back to a standard flag pole with ropes and pulleys. Hopefully they can correct this problem as it is a very nice looking flag poleUpdate 09/14/2020: Their customer service is good and they try very hard to rectify the problem. Unfortunately, good customer service serves no purpose when the merchandise is defective and doesn't work as designed.

This product allows to be installed pretty kuch anywhere. It is weather proof and very durable. Fully adjustable and easy installation. Only issue is from time to time the fittings won't stay tight and part of the Poll with collapse. Other than that very happy with this product.

Received my shipment mid-afternoon and had it up in less than one hour. Placed in back yard so I can enjoy while sitting on patio. Office complex behind me can enjoy the flags as well. In addition to the US flag I have a U.S. Navy flag attached. Love it.Follow-up comments 45 days later: pole is holding up well and withstood thunder storms with winds approaching 50 mph. But in recent days have encountered difficulties lowering and raising the first section of pole. Difficult to turn and seems stuck when raising or lowering. Other sections work well still.Sixty days after order the flag movement has become more difficult. The upper section will NOT lower and the bottom section is getting most difficult to raise. Is there a lubricant that will improve this situation?

This is my second flag pole purchased from this company. The previous one was damaged by strong 70 mph gusts of wind, however, it had endured even harsher conditions prior to that. We are not gentleThe product is of high quality and performs effectively. I was able to install it at the previous location without assistance. (Female, 50 years old, height: 5'1")The only bad thing was, shipping took FOREVER and any visitors to my house had trouble finding it due to the absence of my old flag marking the turn. I had to make a u-turn myself once. Would buy again and again, though.

Although it was easy to install and the aluminum 2" sections of the poles were easy to put together and set upright, the enclosed flag, flag clips, and halyard were cheap quality. The halyard fell apart after just 3 months, I put a better quality flag up, and bought better flag clips. I also noticed that the pole itself has a lot of sway in a strong wind, which being light weight aluminum I can understand but for a 25' pole it's kind of scary to see that.

Love the black pole, very sturdy. Easy to extend
