I'll start with my negative point. The straps are more plastic than rubber don't expect much stretching in them. I don't know if that's the "new" thing in diving since my fins were made in Europe and the 1990's "it's not broken so why change" now on the buckles smaller than the original ones (not a negative) just pointing out along with harder plastic than original ones. Now, with the rest of the story. The one stop replacement buckles and straps. Good to have spares any way. The buckles are made for round post with notch that has to be lined up to install, one set of my fins has the ones I needed for don't. Release strap and male buckle fit my old fin female buckles but sloppy fitting and rattle. "A good thing" to I checked, one of original female buckle had a broken release tab too. Age and hard use. So I disassembled and installed old rubber straps on new buckles after Dremal tool removed the notch on buckles. I could have cobbled my old spare buckles and strap between both fins but a full replacement is due. As of now I recommend this product, it would be a direct replacement on most models of diving fins I think. So that's why I'm giving 5 stars, if going by the straps along it would be 3 but fast shipping and delivery.

My husband was a Navy Diver and we spent many years in Guam. He purchased US Diver Compro fins back in 1995 and used those daily. Fast forward to 2022, our son enlisted in the Navy and will be going to dive school. Before he attends dive school, he needed to train with fins. He broke out dads old fins, cleaned them up and attached the new straps and they are like brand new. Fit perfectly and great price

I don't really blame the product so much as this style of buckle, but the buckles can come loose from the fin easier than I'd like. They are easy to put on and off and work as well as any standard fin strap, just be mindful of the buckles when removing fins when in the water. I used them for 17 dives in a week and lost one buckle, but had no complaints otherwise.

Wow! I just lost the buckle off of my Aeries Mako Dive Fins on Saturday and got these replacement buckles and fin straps within about 30 hours of ordering. These fit perfect and exactly as described. All I really needed was one buckle and now I have replacement parts that should last for a long time! The buckle looks and fits exactly the original buckle and I can't tell the difference on which one I replaced. If you have fins with the post, this is a perfect fit!!! Update - The buckle fit perfectly on my vintage pink SHERWOOD FINS perfectly!

Great replacement strap for older Dacor brand open heal fins that'll give us another 20yrs of service.

Not even close to being universal. Doesnt work on the three different brands of fins we had available to test them on. NOT UNIVERSAL!! ....AVOID

Bought these for my old Dacor Turboflex fins and they fit perfectly. No issues. If you have old Dacor fins you don't want to replace but need new straps, this is what you need.
