I wouldn’t recommend it. The battery drains quickly and the UV output is weak. It doesn’t fulfill the requirements for its intended use.

When ordering this flashligh I did not have any expectations. I was just buying a low cost flashlight to use every once in a while. Upon receiving this light I was surprised how sturdy and high quality it is. I charged the flashlight fully before trying it out and when I finally turned it on I was surprised again by how bright the flashlight was and how great the focus feature worked being able to pinpoint the light on whatever I wanted to light up. I started using this flashlight everyday and stopped using my larger, bulkier, heavier and way more expensive rechargeable streamlight flashlight that I have relied on for so long. It became a pleasure not lugging it around. This flashlight is light weight, very sturdy and has many useful features. The features include a bright and slightly dimmer setting, sos flash and black lght which all use the focus lens. It also has a lantern mode which consists of a bright white and red constant light setting, a white and a red strobe setting also a white to red fluctuating setting which I will not be using just because I am not an emergency worker. There is a magnet on the butt of the flashlight that easily holds its weight and stays on the metal surface very handy when you need that extra hand under the hood of your car when there is no one else around. I don't know the full run time of the light I don't want to sit here with the light on till it dies out I don't have that much time on my hands but I can say I have used it for an hour straight and it was still shining bright as it did at full charge. I charge it after every use that's just my nature just like charging my cell phone I never want to run out of power just in case of emergency. I use it almost everyday and have used it in situations i would have never thought of before. Just the other night I was going to tow my jet ski for storage till next season. Unfortunately when I hooked it up to my truck the running and break light were not working on my trailor. Lucky I had this flashlight with me along with some duct tape. I attached the light to the back of the trailer and turned on the constant red lantern mode. It lit up the area and made the trailer highly visible. It did the trick, it got my to my destination without getting pulled over and more of a plus got me there safe without putting myself or others at risk by keeping the trailer visible. It saved me from trying to fix the lights on my trailer during the night or having to come back the next day to figure out the problem. (Found the issue with the trailer light. Spiders spun webbing in the plug so it had no contact. All fixed now but thanks to the flashlight I was able to do it at home the next day and not waste the trip.) All I can say is this flashlight is great and will work for all your needs. It's value, quality and features far exceeds it's price. On another note I had a quick question about the flashlight and sent the seller a message. They replied quickly on the same day with all the details I needed. So final words great flashlight and great customer service. 5 stars customer service, flashlight and all its features.

I love the durability, and versatility of the flashlight. I think the 1 second button hold function to turn it off is genius. Its very easy to hold and its very bright, but could be brighter. USB charging is great, and i love the magnet on the back. It is nicely lightweight, and it looks cool. Overall it functions pretty damn well.

I have had this flashlight since 2022. I bought it for my security job. It has been dropped, in the snow and ice, wet, fallen while running and a lot more. I have used it later in automotive, oil on it out in the weather still, dropped, tossed. From 2023 to 2025 the large amount of abuse that that flashlight has gone through is insane. I knew I would purchase another flashlight and when it seemed to die I threw it across the room on concrete, it came back on. I was surprised. So I kept it and still used it. Another time, it stopped working I just threw it again, it broke in half. I just put it back together and it lit back up. I then just placed it in my car if I needed it. It is 2025 now and I just finally had to retire it. RIP

I got this to detect ringworm on my cats. It did the job. It has a lot of options. What I don’t like is clicking through the 7 options to get to off. Mostly because the last option before off is a bright blinking white light which can be blinding. Still, with all the options I think it’s good to keep around for possible emergencies. It’s not the first one I pick for average use. It’s sturdy. The batteries don’t bang around inside if you shake it. Metal casing. The main light is bright and goes a fair distance. While it’s not my first choice for average use (because I don’t want to click through so many things), I’m glad I have it around.

Even when it worked, the light hours were disappointing. Randomly after a month, I turned it off and it never would turn back on (...without being plugged in). Could not recharge at all, and if plugged in, it would turn off the second it was unplugged from the charger...so it became useless within a month of owning it and using it daily. Clearly, this flashlight uses a defective lithium ion battery, and/or has the utterly cheapest battery build inside this flashlight. The various light functions are nice (...when it works). It probably has 2 hours of life when using the brightest setting, so always use the 2nd option, the less bright main light. The black light uses a lot of juice. Focus slider is great also. I really loved the design. The magnet and clip adding a lot of useability and sold me on this unit originally. Update: the replacement I was sent is actually slightly different from the original one in a big way: it now uses a Micro-USB port to charge instead of the previous (and preferable) Type-C. Now I have to go back in time 5 years and continue to carry another Micro-USB cable in my pocket, when one of reasons I bought the thing in the first place was the C-port and the fact that I can use my phone cable to charge the flashlight. My guess is that the designers see this as an improvement because it prevents the cable from flipping out while charging, owing to the shape of the port. But any rational (and capable) human would choose to go with the times, ditch that last Micro-cable, and upgrade to the universal C-type port, and just figure out how to charge it without the cable slipping out if given the choice. Honestly, how does this product find ways to disappoint me, over and over?
