Kimbo Nespresso Compatible Capsule Variety Package

I've been trying different Nespresso compatible capsules for awhile now. Kimbo is a brand I've been eager to try. They are a very reputable Italian espresso company from Naples established in 1963. It's hard to beat that pedigree. I have tried all three varieties and I have to say, bravo Kimbo! This Nespresso compatible gets it right on all three counts, aroma, crema, and flavor. I was struck by how rich and smooth all three were, even the Intenso. I'm not sure which is my favorite yet, all three are great. I'm very happy to have found a brand that is finally worthy of my Nespresso machine that doesn't break the bank. What makes them better? I'm a stickler for details and one of the reason they taste better is they have more coffee in each capsule, 5.7g. Most compatible brands only have 5g. It makes a difference in a 1 - 2 oz shot of espresso. I read reviews all the time that say "Only buy Nespresso brand". Nonsense! IMO, Kimbo "IS" as good. One minor caveat, although the capsules have foil on the bottom it did take a little more effort to close the handle than I expected, but the capsules have extracted perfectly. Bottom line, my new favorite capsule brand.The seller (EnjoyBetterCoffee) is pretty great too. I looked them up, and they have a website. If you love espresso and European coffee you need to check it out. Very fair pricing on hard to find high quality European coffee. Shipping was really fast. I'm in PA and they are in Columbus, OH. My order arrived a day earlier than estimated.

I bought this sample pack of all three Kimbo flavors for my Nespresso Pixie machine. Very pleased with all three, especially the Intenso and Armonia flavors. Wonderful amount of rich crema from all three. Love the intense and complex fruitiness of the 100% arabica Armonia blend and the strong, yet smooth dark chocolate notes of the Intenso blend. Kimbo, from Naples, definitely knows how to create that wonderful southern Italian espresso experience and package it very successfully in a small capsule. And at half the price of Nespresso capsules, your taste buds and your wallet will both be delighted. Definitely my go-to espresso brand from here forward!

I like all the Kimbo varieties ... good flavor, lots of crema, convenient, and cost effective. I use these capsules in my Breville Creatista Plus (home) and Nespresso Pixie (office) ... they work equally well in both machines. I drink a double shot (1 capsule per 1.3 ounce shot) before leaving the house, and another double at the office, mid-morning.

Great flavor. These pods make Intense, earthy, and strong espresso shots. Really good eye openers in the morning. The fit is a little tricky. These are made for original series Nespresso machines but sometimes they fall straight down into the used pod bin. I manage to place these pods just in the right angle so they fall. Other than that, great value for the money.

Does not fit Nespresso Creatista Plus Espresso Machine . I like Kimpo cafe but I suggest the seller would either clearify it and or make sure the capsules are modified to fit to all regular line nespresso machines.Updated : after some additional tries the machine accept the Kimbo capsules (my machine is new so I guess it took time for it to widen).The cafe is great ! And it works just fine !

Coffee quality is just OK, it’s not bad, but it’s not amazing, and it’s definitely not as good as official Nespresso pods. There’s something strange about the physical size and shape of the pods, they fit into the Nespresso machine pod slot, but not the way that they should, which allows them to slip out of place some of the time, which means you have to kind of hold them in place with a finger while you start to push down on the Nespresso pod lever. The price is great, but I would probably prefer to spend a little bit more for official Nespresso pods in the future.

If you have had the regular Kimbo espresso made in an old fashion stove top espresso pot you will know that Kimbo is the best espresso you can buy. Now available in pods for my Nespresso machine! Amazing taste & less expensive than the Nespresso pods. You will not buy from Nespresso after trying the Kimbo pods.

This is the third type of “econo” Nespresso pods I’ve ordered, but the first brand I have reordered. Rich, creamy espresso that tastes fresh and isn’t bitter at all. I’m a big fan of Americanos, and I can finally make them at home for a fraction of what I was paying at you-know-where but I truthfully can’t tell the difference.
