Absolutely perfect knife. It's literally just an exacto, but retractable for safety. It has two extension lengths and is super handy. Love that it's brightly colored so it's harder to lose that the original exacto knife. Plus it's more ergonomic for your hands to hold onto easier.I own 3 of them for various locations in the house.

I like this a lot, I don't worry as much that I'll cut myself picking it up because I can retract the blade safely when I finish using it and put it away. Works just like a normal xacto knife for crafting. I use mine to open plastic or tape seals, envelopes, etc. all small jobs that don't require a box cutter.

Great idea, should have come along way before now. Overall quality and ergonomics are good. My only dislike is that the collet holding the blade can turn when you tighten it on a new blade, making it extend in a different position than it did originally (wish it was "fixed", the same every time).

I may order a couple more of these to have but the one I currently own I enjoy. It's like a having a switch blade ...lol Seriously I like that it retracts and that the blades are replaceable.

I lost my other hobby knife and picked this one up on a sale to replace the one I lost. The handle feels a little cheapy/lightweight but the actual ergonomics was very comfortable for holding. The slide for the knife is ingenious, I like it versus a separate cap I have to keep track of like on my other one. I have yet to replace the blade so I'll probably amend this review once I experience it but as far as I can see, it seems pretty typical for this type of knife and I couldn't have to mess with the spring slide or anything too complex, but I'll find out when the time comes. In the meantime, very handy and very inexpensive.

Easy to use without worrying about hurting yourself. Nice grip for close-in work.

3 stars for what I needed not for the knife itself. It’s a pretty great idea and everything I needed but sadly it’s not as durable as I need. If you’re just doing paper or small jobs it’s great but I was carving intricate inlays in wood and it has just a little too much play in the knife and it does feel like it might break sometimes. Im keeping because it’s cool but not for wood carving.
