Really enjoyed this book. I'm a sucker for dark romance and loved the amount of spice in this book. There was so many plot twits to keep you on your toes. There was a clear understanding how the Lords work. The book is a easy read and enjoyable. The character growth through the book is incredible!in my opinion the book is well writes, very easy to read. I also loved the play list at the begging of the book really sets the seen/mood of the book. I would highly recommend this book if you looking for a dark romance with loads of spice and a easy read! I read this book in two days mainly because I couldn't put it down.

The spiciest book I've read so far! It definitely makes your imagination go wild. I feel like there wasn't much of a plot but 4 stars for the spice alone ;)

God, I loved this book! It had everything a dark romance should have. But there are many triggers so be sure to read the TW before you dive in!So, this was so unique written, I enjoyed reading this secret society trope. It was stimulating to read a new trope which I haven’t ventured into before, it was just a bonus that is was a dark romance with loads of exciting twists.It may be just another dark college romance with a bad boy that the FMC falls in love with but the story has so much more to it. It’s dangerous, gripping, alluring and intense. The Ritual has got rivalry, betrayal, secrets, lies, manipulation and revenge! And who doesn’t love a bit of gory revenge! I couldn’t put it down, this story is sexy, hot and had me staying awake till 4am reading until I could no longer keep my eyes open. Oh and did I already mention it’s hotttt asf!I fell in love with Ryat Archer and his emerald green eyes! He’s OTT possessive, jealous and dominant. Where Blakely is is one strong feisty FMC. She’s confident yet very untrusting and rightfully so; innocent, brave, curious and very stubborn. Blakely has kinks and fantasies that her ex-boyfriend shamed her for. But Ryat helps her to explore these fantasies instead of making her feel like she should be disgusted with herself for having them. And this was one of the many reasons why I loved him.The settings in this book were so vividly described I felt like I could picture them. It really enhanced the dark and gothic themes of the story. Along with this, the book also has great spice. Oh the spice!! Damn…I just don’t know what to say…but damnn.I also really enjoyed how the book teaches that we shouldn’t be ashamed or shame others for having kinks or sexual fantasies. It’s not something that we should be disgusted by, it may not be for everyone but that doesn’t mean we should give others hate for it.Well, I really loved this! Trust me if you enjoy dark romances, with grit and hint of murder, oh and let’s not forget the smut! Then I recommend The Ritual.

It was good but he definitely isn’t my favourite lord. No that goes to Tyson but if you love a DARK romance you will love this! Please make sure you check your triggers before going in

Another excellent story from this author. I loved all of the characters and the story line. It is very well written and entertaining

I've had this book on my tbr for so long, and I've seen all the hype online, so I finally got around to reading it. I've read this author before and enjoyed her work. This book is no different. It's a dark, secret society, college based romance, but I different feel it's worth all the hype I've seen. Don't get me wrong, it's a great read but I've read so much dark romance that it didn't feel that dark. The lies seem to never end, Blake constantly feels in the dark and it's one twist after another. Ryat is loyal to his cause and his lady, definitely book boyfriend material so I see why everyone loves this book.

Book recommended by someone who likes the darker side of reading, so honestly didn't think it was something I would want to read. Soo very wrong!! The storyline is very deep, but it catches you and draws you in from the start, and you just can't put it down! Nothing is straightforward for Blakely after she is thrown into a world she knows nothing about and is as far from her day to day life as she could imagine. Her world gets turned upside down but she comes out fighting, facing danger and deception at every turn.

Iv seen the hype over this series but have been pushing it back for ages. I finally started it and finished it in 2 days (would of been 1 but, kids 🤣). It's everything everyone said and more. It's dark, smutty and as a really good storyline. Now to read book 2
