BananagramsParty Edition

This game has been the family favorite for the last 15 years. I have gifted it to everyone I know, old and young. It is like a fast moving "scrabble" for each player. Usually we bring it on vacation, but had to order one to the vacation spot. It can be 2 people or multiple and just as fun to play. It's compact, doesn't require a board just needs a table top! It's addictive. Great quality and value and goes anywhere. Enjoy!

This is a great and classic game period. We really don't use the party tiles that much, we stick to classic game play, but it is also fun when we do.I bought this version not so much for the "Party element" but for the bag. It's much sturdier than the classic's cotton poly bag and holds up well when camping.I already have this black tile "Party" version for camping, and 2 classic white tile versions, we also have Bananagrams Duel. I wanted a second "Party" version to keep with our camping games.We swapped out the black tiles in one of the "Party" bags with classic white tiles so we can combine them with the black tiles when needed for larger camping groups. It's easier to separate the two games back into their respective bags.A bonus for us was that the party game with black tiles was much cheaper than the classic game but the Classic white tiles are easier to see in dim light.P.S. I also highly recommend 2 player Bananagrams Duel for camping.

This appears to be a fun game. I read the instructions and am anxious to play it on game night in March.

The best thing about this game is that each player can create their own grid independent of every other player. So, children and adults of all levels can play at the same time. The challenge is to make your own puzzle and use up all letters. The first to be out of tiles wins. They can be small words or large ones as long as they connect. It doesn't matter if one player is smarter than another. Its lots of fun and also portable.

This game is addictive! We love it!

This is great for game night and easy to learn! The 4 stars is only because some of the pieces arrived with smudges, as if they were previously played with already. But overall, good game!

I would buy this over the original. Think of speedy scrabble, but everyone gets to be playing at the same time. Party edition introduces a few tiles you can use to target the faster people and slow them down. Stand on one leg, can only use one hand, no thumbs etc.... If you like words and board games, highly recommend.

The original Bananagrams is often out of stock so if you are looking to play the game, you can order the set with party tiles. This includes the basic 144 tiles of the original with the extra "party" tiles that can be used or not depending or your preference. I also happen to really like the black tiles - sort of the "dark mode" of the game. The game itself is a lot of fun, easy to learn and good for a range of ages. Not everyone has the time or patience for Scrabble. This is a great alternative that still provides an intellectual challenge and learning experience.
