Q: Does this 3-in-1 harness chaf your dog's shoulders or armpits?

I’m not sure if this will be helpful to you, however, it has not chaffed my dog, but I only put it on him when we go for walks or car rides. And even then it depends on where we’re walking. I can tell you the straps have kind of a padded felt on the skin side, it’s not really thick, but it seems that would at least partially triage that issue. Not that you asked this, but, be sure to actually measure your dog to get the right size. I have a very lean, healthy 80lbs bloodhound Mix, and neither the large nor the medium fit him correctly. I bought both sizes considering his neck measurement called for medium and torso measurement called for large. That is very likely due to his odd proportions and not the harness itself, but the large does seem very large.

Easy walk is easier to put on. 3 in 1 is sturdier and has more function.

Q: How does the seat belt strap work? Do they need to be laying down or can they sit?

This is an excellent question, Sara! When using this harness in the car, your dog will be able to sit or stand comfortably. You can slide the seat belt through the gray loop on top of the harness or you can clip the adjustable car control strap to the harness and slide the seat belt through the loop on the end of this strap.

Q: How can I fix the martingale strap? My puppy chewed it because it irritated her
