I picked up this BLACK+DECKER PowerSeries+ cordless stick vacuum on a special for $50, and I honestly wasn’t expecting much — but I was very pleasantly surprised. It works fantastic on tile floors and does a great job on short-pile carpet as well. What really impressed me is that it automatically adjusts the suction power when moving onto higher-pile carpet, so there’s no guessing or manual switching. The battery life is excellent. I can clean my entire 1,800 sq ft house on a single charge, which is more than enough for regular cleaning. It’s also very lightweight, easy to maneuver, and the LED floor lights are helpful for spotting dirt you’d otherwise miss. This vacuum is perfect for quick cleanups but powerful enough for full-house use. For the price I paid, it’s an absolute steal — but even at regular price, I’d still recommend it.

I NEVER leave reviews.. I am not a robot either! I am extremely surprised with the suction power of this vacuum. I love that I do not have to hold the button down for it to run. It also has 3 options, which I didn't know about. I can pick floor, rug, or it will switch back and forth for me. Huge for me! It's small convinces like this that make it so much easier to clean the house on a daily basis. The lights are extremely bright as well. Love that it lays flat and I can get under stuff. I usually vacuum daily which includes, living room, dining room, kitchen, hallway, and let me add I have two fur-babies. This vacuum absolutely cleans up dog hair with complete ease!! Again, I am extremely surprised. The price compared to bigger name brands threw me off a tad, I was thinking this would be below average. Absolutely not! The battery life is great considering the size. The rooms that I vacuum above I would say makes up about 850 square feet. Keeping in mind I have 5 different rugs to vacuum, which obviously takes more power. Without rushing I am easily able to vacuum the above rooms within 35 minutes. If I add my bedroom with the above rooms (also has a rug), I usually drain the battery life completely. This vacuum is also extremely well built, by no means is it cheaply made. All together considering I have only had this vacuum I think going on 3 weeks, I would absolutely repurchase when the time is do. I feel from what I have experienced within this short time this vacuum will have a long life span. My previous vacuums' have been Dysons. If you have had Dysons you know they are hard to keep up with. I am not at all disappointed with this purchase. Again, giving the excellent performance thus far when the time comes for a full size vacuum I can see purchasing a black and decker as well. I am HUGE on reading reviews. I hope I have covered everything you would like to know to help you make a great purchase with less doubt. For me purchasing like this is an investment and I definitely do not have money to be throwing away. With that being said if you purchase this I have total faith your money is well spent :)

While this is not the vacuum for somebody with arthritis or low muscle tone (extremely difficult to remove the filter from the canister in order to empty), it is extraordinarily easy to use and has powerful suction. One of my kids sucked up two socks in it yesterday. I only vacuum up to 1200 square feet at a time, but I always put it away with plenty of charge left. It's light and easy to maneuver. I actually prefer to vacuum in dim light with this because the bright light on the vacuum highlights debris on the floor so you don't miss anything and there's more contrast / clarity if the room is dimly lit. It only comes with one attachment, so not ideal for upholstery, and you cannot detach the main brush from the stick part of the vacuum, so if you choose to use the wand attachment, you'll be attaching it to the canister part of the vacuum, leaving you without much length. This is usually fine, unless you need to vacuum something like stairs and have back issues or can't spend a lot of time bent over. On the whole, I like this vacuum a lot. I have one for my office and one for my home.

Great cordless vacuum, efficient, light weight, easy to use and clean. Love the headlights, and you thought the floors were clean. Battery life is around the 45 minutes, I go 30 minutes in my single wide mobile home and it really does the job. Now I have no pets, but my place is a dust magnet, and I track outside to inside, gets it all. If you love the Dustbuster, you will diffenitly love this guy, oh it breaks down too.

Wow, what a great cordless vacuum. They have really come a long way from the last one I had years ago. This vacuum is amazing, picks up dust, dirt and cat hair like a champ. Powerful, lite and glides so easily. I highly recommend it.

The vacuum did its job decently well while it lasted, but the longevity was very disappointing—just over three years, which is not what I would expect from a Black & Decker product. I live in a 1,300 sq ft home and don’t vacuum excessively, especially since I also use a Shark robot vacuum weekly, so this unit was not heavily used. The dust container is quite small and needed to be emptied almost every time I vacuumed, which became inconvenient. Battery life also fell short of expectations. While it advertises up to 44 minutes, I realistically got closer to 30 minutes per charge. One positive feature is that it automatically switches from low to high power when moving from hardwood floors to carpet, which is convenient and works well. Overall, the vacuum performs adequately, but the short lifespan and small container make it hard to justify for the price and brand reputation.

So far I'm really happy with my purchase! I bought it for daily use on cat litter over hardwood floor but I'm also able to use it on other surfaces. It's small, lightweight, and I love that it's cordless. I knocked it down 1 star because it shuts off on really thick area rugs, I cannot figure out how to remove the brushroller and only use the stick part, and the battery life. I live in a 900 sq foot apartment and I can get through the entire space but I have to charge it afterwards, which is only about 20 minutes of run time. It's also very loud! For the price point I'm very happy!
