Real Shell Nightlight

The shell is nice and big so that it completely covers the night light bulb from all angles. Mine has to plug in sideways due to the outlet on my kitchen counter but it still looks attractive. I changed out the clear bulb, that came with, for a solid white bulb and it has a softer glow which I personally prefer. Very glad I made this purchase. UPDATE: Loved this so much that I bought 2 more of these for the two other plug in outlets in my kitchen. The seller sent me two that matched with exquisite pink tinged shells! I know that this is purely the luck of the draw as seashells, like anything made by nature, are always unique to one another. Just the same, I greatly appreciated the seller's care in how these two match so well and yet also go nicely with the first one that I purchased, as my apartment decor's accent colors include pink! These are beautifully handcrafted, and the switch part is a nice neutral that goes well with the seashell colors. UPDATE: TUESDAY Apr 11, 2023 - Ordered another, for a total of 4 of these, for use in my kitchen outlets. Arrived yesterday and it's another lovely pink tinged shell. I purchased this item in 2018. I got three of them. Although there is variability among the shells because they are a natural product, two of them were very similar which was great because I wanted to place one in each receptacle on either side of my bathroom sink. The other was lovely in another different location. The quality is very good. The light from the bulb causes a soft illumination of the shell and casts a lovely shadow of light on the wall around the fluted edge of the shell. One review I read prior to my purchase was that a glue line was visible where the shell was affixed to the night light mechanism. Although this its true, the glue is clear and (in my opinion) not distracting to the item. The brightness of the light, of course depends on the intensity of the bulb one chooses to use, 4 watt or 7 watt incandescent. These shell night lights are really nice. If I needed more of these lights, I would definitely buy them again.

Very pretty night light. It looks good during the day and at night it makes a soft bright light. I liked the first one for the bathroom and a 2nd for the bedroom.

This is my second time purchasing this product. This time the shell is twice the size. My first purchase the nightlight was 4 and one quarter in. Wide and 5 inches tall. This time the product is 5 and one quarter inches wide and 5 and three quarter inches high. Too big for the bathroom outlet but perfect for lighting our hallway. I really like these because you can paint them and glue little shells and beads to them as you see I did in the photo. That little guy is over 5 years-old and still reliable. Definitely recommend.

A delightful little nightlight that arrived within 24 hrs of being ordered. The seashell itself is very attractive AND sturdy, and I love that it has an off/switch. I replaced the clear bulb it came with for an aqua C7 bulb from my Christmas light stash and WOW! It looks absolutely magical. A great product, happy I bought it

Elegant, perfect shape and good size. I'm not a beach person, but just had to have this! Guess now I'm a beach person after all!
