This particular type of cinnamon doesn't have the intensity of others. If you're looking for that robust, in your face cinnamon taste, try store bought or Cassia cinnamon. This type of cinnamon is more mild and also widely used for other purposes (medicinal). It contains less coumarin which gives it a milder taste. It is softer which makes it more ideal for teas, decoctions, etc. If you like a mild hint of cinnamon, this is for you. Excellent product. It came in fresh and the color was perfect for this type of cinnamon. I infuse this type of cinnamon when I cook curries, and for medicinal purposes. The smell is a light cinnamon flavor with a note of sweetness.💯

The 1 pound bag had more than 50, 5 inch long, rolled cinnamon sticks. There are several layers in each roll. They have a mild, wonderful anroma and add to the flavor of my coffee each day. Depending on the size of the mug I am using, at times I cut them into 2 pieces using a sharp blade. They do not crack or break into little pieces. The bag they are packaged in is resealable which saves me having to purchase a separate storage container for them.

Great product not a single stick was broken and was as described. Nice thick sticks and makes delicious tea! Highly recommend and will definitely purchase again! Great value.

A bit disappointed in the quality of this items that was much lighter than other brands purchased, had very little aroma and many of the pieces were smashed and unusable. I would not purchase this item again.

Finest Cinnamon I have found

Let me start by saying I LOVE cinnamon flavoring! I add a cinnamon stick to my cinnamon tea every morning and love the bite of strong cinnamon flavoring. Not only do these cinnamon sticks not have bite, they don’t even have teeth. There is no, absolutely NO, flavor in these cinnamon sticks! The bag doesn’t even smell like cinnamon. Don’t waste your money. Do not buy these!

I cut the sticks and drop it in my tea. The sticks are very fresh, completely dried, and could be broken by hand very easily. Good taste. and acceptable Flavor and aroma. The price for its quality and amount is very good. From now on this would be my favorite brand.

Find a 2qt or 3qt. sauce pan.Put it on the stove top and fill it with a fair amount of water, leaving about an inch from the top.Medium boil #5 for 1 hour.Put on Setting #1 for 3 hours.Turn off and let it cool for about 2 hours.It's a super easy process and relatively hands free, and while it might take a whole day to finish, you'll have yourself at least 5 to 7 cups of tea for the week, maybe a few more. You also won't be able to live without it afterwards, just a friendly warning to those who are tight on money. Now I drink this stuff cold after having dinner and it's like having a freaking dessert!!!!
