Assembly is quick and easy. Best to have two people assist in mounting because the awning is large and does flex quite a bit when hold outside of center point. The install lag bolts pretty useless unless you're fortunate enough to have the mounting holes directly on stud lines. Best to purchase appropriate wall anchors and lag bolts suitable for the wall your placing the awning on. Seal the top of the awning to your wall with silicone sealant. The awning is water tight and holds up very well in the wind. I painted the top with Rustoleum metallic copper. Good buy.

I was a bit worried about the strength since it's mostly plastic but we had windstorm with 100km/h + wind and nothing move, bend or broke ! It's 4 time cheaper here on Amazon than my local lumber store. The curve allow water and snow to be pulled away from doorstep and this is exactly why I bought it. Really please with this purchase.

Great product.-wall anchors that come with it would only be acceptable for concrete wall install. Had to go buy 6 lag bolts and washers to do install on wood structure.-needs 2 people to install. Not 1, must be 2.Super easy to install with a helper and looks amazing.We had a "light" snowfall the day after I installed it and everything stood up well. I would not let snow accumulate beyond an inch or two max as I'm sure it would not stand up.very pleased, thinking of ordering another one.

We installed this over our entry door in early 2019. It was easy to install with 2 people and looked great. Over the past few weeks, holes have started to form in the corrugated sheets, on the top, which now allow rain and debris to enter the channels. Product looked good at the beginning, now just looks old and worn after only 2 years and a couple of months. Value for dollar rating 3 out of 10.

Even though this is polycarbonate, I thought it would be more firm. It is very flimsy. I bought the 40 x 80" and after putting all the parts together, they kept coming apart. Took quite a bit of effort even with 3 people assisting with the installation. There were no installation guide. Just a piece of paper listing the parts and screws. I had to measure the distance between the holes in order to pre-drill the holes. Once it was finally installed, it was a little more sturdy however, I'll have to wait to see if it strand up to the wind and snow.
