Great little compact flash
Works fine on my Pentax K-3 II that does not have a pop=up flash (GPS in there instead) . I have a big flash for when I need a lot of light, but sometimes you just need a little fill, or some flash for informal snapshots. This unit is so much lighter than the big flash, a lot easier to manage on the camera. The Auto more works fine.

I love the 1/4 power
I've put it through the gauntlet, it's a solid flash, compact but powerful. I love the 1/4 power setting

Amazon description wrong, no batteries
Flash is great, but Amazon says batteries included, I purchased 2 of these from Amazon, and neither had batteries in the box.

FRAGILE
Broke after a very small fall. I took it apart and found the most overcomplicated, unrepairable piece of tech I've ever come across, especially given how simple a flash is, or at least should be. The broken element in the hinge was clearly poorly designed and extremely fragile. This product is not up to Pentax standards. I don't know why its design is so overcomplicated and delicate. They could easily make a simpler and sturdier flash.

Fantastic product, fantastic delivery times
Fantastic product, fantastic delivery times (In less than 5days from the USA to South Korea!). Product is really well made, feels sturdy and the output is more than enough for my needs. Thank you!

No no no
This is one of the only flashes that works in TTL mode with a Ricoh GRiii, plus it's relatively small - GREAT! But is it great? NO, IT SUCKS... It's recycle time is patheticly slow. Even the weakest flash takes a number of seconds between flashes. Also, if you're using it in manual mode, there's no dial to control the brightness, you need to adjust it from inside the camera's menu.Does Pentax even get photographers to test their stuff? After trying it for 5 minutes I returned it. The Godex Lux Jr is 1/3 the price. It doesn't have TTL but it's infinity better.
