This thing has been a lifesaver. It fits perfectly between the bigger seats and is light weight making it easy for travel. The design is great, I’m a big fan of black. It’s way to clean and can be deflated and folded up when unneeded. The quality is great and my son loves it.

This is the perfect travel seat for my 70lb 7 year old. We bought it because it rolls small onto a tote bag for travel to be used in rental cars, and ride share. It is lightweight and works as designed. Upon a few uses the seat began to deflate and I called the service line. Within a few hours of my message the representative called me and offered a replacement be immediately sent. In addition to the product being great I can attest the service is just a high of quality. I would recommend anyone who has a backless booster sized child consider this as your second seat for riding carpool, grandparents or while traveling.

This works exactly as described and is perfect for travel. We were looking for a booster that was easy to travel with AND met the national safety requirements. This was a recommended product from the NHTSA, and we love it. It's easy to inflate, easy to deflate, and easy to store. I added a carabiner to the tag loop so I could attach to my backpack when flying. Would definitely recommend.

Very practical portable car seat, I have taken it to several trips without problem, when deflated it can be packed quite small, similar to the size of a rolled up hoodie, it also comes with a elastic storage bag. My child could see better sitting elevated on the car seat (compared to a seatbelt restraint alternative) There are 3 seatbelt hooks that are sturdy, be sure to slide the seatbelt in place for a snug fit and better protection.

UPDATE: Received my replacement seat from Amazon - it's the exact same (old) manufacture date (as you can see from the picture of them both together). The only thing Amazon customer service could tell me is that they must not sell many of these, so all their stock is probably dated. I'm frustrated with the amazon experience - at the end of the day they say they can't sell a valid product, and there's nothing they will do about it. Bubble bum suggested they could help me, so I reached out to them, but they haven't yet replied to my email. So I still have no car seat! So I love this car seat - my problem is with the dated stock Amazon is selling. I owned one of these a couple of years ago, for my daughter. She loved it, it was all good. But my son didn't like the color (which is fair enough, it was very pink and he's 8). My son is now essentially out of a booster seat, but he's not quite the right height to ride without one. We were in a bad car accident once, and it only takes the ones to realize how important car seats and booster are. So yes, I am purchasing this for my 8.5 yr old! We first purchased one in November, for an international trip we were taking. It worked wonderfully - so simple and light to pack, great for moving in and out of various rental cars. However, while moving it around I glanced at the back - and realized it was already 1.5 years old/past manufacturing date. As most people who use them know, car seats have expiry dates (this is 4 years). So I'd already lost over 25% of the use of the seat. I returned it, Amazon refunded my money. We're about to take another trip, and besides, my son really likes this car seat. He especially likes that it's discrete. I like that I can easily move it to fit another (older) kid in the car. I was disappointed to discover that the one I received yesterday was almost a year old - that's going right back! I called Amazon and explained the situation. They're going to send me another (3rd times a charm?). But the lady on the phone explained that although the seats are sold by Amazon directly, there's nothing she can do to ensure they're new stock. So I'm going to give it one more go, and I'll update in a couple of days. But I suggest buying from a store where you can see the expiration date and check you're not getting old stock.

We really like our booster seat, but it is a bit big to travel with. In fact, every time we went to the airport, they made us try and stuff it through the x-ray machine. We would tell the TSA person that the last time or last two times, it got stuck, but they were persistent. And of course, it got stuck again. We decided that we needed an alternative for travel. After research, there are two decent options: the Trunki/Boostapak, which also functions as a backpack and is made of hard plastic, and the inflatable BubbleBum. Both are considered safe and include an adjustable belt positioning strap. The BubbleBum, however, is more practical for long car rides compared to the Trunki since the BubbleBum is naturally more comfortable (inflatable cushion vs. hard plastic). So, if you plan to fly and then travel in a car for a bit, this is your only option. Which is fine because this product is awesome. In fact, we purchased another one for the other car just because it is so convenient. If your child has a play date but needs to bring a car seat, or if you find that you have to suddenly transport one of your child's friends in your car, you are ready. If you need a third booster in between two larger car seats, this one will work. It is easy to use, my child--who can sometimes struggle with securing a seat belt--has no difficulties putting this one on. Additionally, it literally takes about 15 seconds to take it out of the bag, inflate it, and secure the positioning strap on the seat belt. If there is one con, it is just that you will have to check to make sure your child put the safety belt through BOTH red loops (pictured) on each side. Since I generally install the seat first, securing the positioning strap on the safety belt, I slip the safety belt into the red loop so that my child will just have to worry about positioning the strap and then buckling in on the other side, and slipping the safety belt into the other red loop. This is a great travel tool woth booster seat-aged kids. It is compact enough to take with you without being a hassle, inflates quickly and deflates pretty easily too. The shoulder strap for the seatbelt never worked roght for us, but that is only needed for smaller kids.
