Super Watch for the Price
I bought this Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic silver "refurbished" for about fifty bucks. It arrived the next day looking brand new. It came with a charger and a cheap plastic watch band. I bought a stainless steel watch band on Amazon for $14 and could not be more pleased with the end result. I downloaded the most current update and the watch is, for intents and purposes, brand new. My only negative comment I have is that my Samsung watch 4 needs to be recharged more frequently than my watch 3. However, it has more apps and functions than the older one. I highly recommend this product and seller.

Super timepiece!
Love this watch!! Waterproof, rugged and stylish. Even as a refurbished item, it looks brand new. With the most recent update, the battery can last up to 2 1/2 days. Connectivity is excellent. Really happy I bought this. Recommend!

A little outdated but still an affordable and nice quality smart watch
Love the classic look with a bevel. The 4 classic is affordable for those looking for the simple smart watch experience. It's a little dated and doesn't have some of the features newer models have but it looks nice and really helps me quickly micro manage my life when when I don't wanna use my phone like during work, workouts, going out on a bike ride. Not a fan much of the silicone bands and the way the mount but that's just my personal opinion, but my only real notes are that the battery life is very short even when not in use and the charging time is long. I did get mine second hand so maybe that's the reason.

Great price.
Great price. Works good. Easy to sync with Samsung phone and app. Holds up good to daily work wear. Easy to read in direct sunlight.

Includes knockoff charger which is 40% slower than the Samsung charger & gets very hot
So far, the watch is great. It is in excellent condition as described (I haven't been able to test battery life yet, I'll update once I've had some time to test this). The watch and band looked new, apart from some dust. One flaw with buying renewed is that the vendor does not supply an OEM Samsung charger, but an absolutely TERRIBLE knockoff Chinese charger. It works, but it is very slow and gets very hot. And for an already slow charging watch, that's a bad thing. The included charger took 20m just to add 5% (from 25 to 30 so I could install a software update), and said it would take 1h 49m to charge to full from 30%. That is far slower than advertised. Since I'm replacing a Galaxy Watch Active 2, I decided to drop it onto the OEM Samsung charger (which has the same 5V/1A rating as the generic one that was included allegedly does, and is the same official charger this watch comes with when new), and the time to full dropped to 1h 23m for the same 30-100%, and gained 7% charge in just 10 minutes, instead of 5% in 20 minutes like the generic charger did. It also doesn't heat up the watch nearly as much as the generic charger. The generic charger, according to my laser thermometer, has the watch at 49C after 20 minutes while the watch on the OEM Samsung charger is at 42C after the same 20 minutes. That is a huge difference, and doing that to the battery every time it is charged is a sure fire way to take months off the battery lifespan. So expect to have to shell out another $10 for an OEM Samsung charger if you don't want to torture the battery to a premature death by using a charger that heats up the watch significantly and charges 40% slower than the OEM charger.Watch: 5 starsCharger: 0 starsIf I hadn't already gone through the effort of setting it up, I'd just have returned the whole thing over this charger issue, since the provided charger is clearly not an OEM equivalent as guaranteed by the "Amazon Renewed" program.Battery life update 1: as long as you do not use the continuous SpO2 monitoring during sleep, the battery life is actually quite good. I can get just shy of 3 full days with 2 nights of sleep tracking as long as SpO2 monitoring is not enabled. With it disabled, it consumes about 8-10% overnight. With continuous SpO2 monitoring during sleep enabled, it uses about 30-35% overnight. That's a huge difference. It seems the LEDs for monitoring SpO2 are very inefficient, since the green heart rate tracking LEDs don't use much power at all, comparatively, since those remain on 24/7, and barely drain 1% every 2-3h.I do keep AOD disabled, but I will test in the coming days with AOD enabled to see if it is reasonable to keep it enabled on this device and how much power it uses.Still, the battery life is significantly better than my old Watch Active2 which lasted about 30h (at best) with everything except heart rate monitoring disabled (no lift to wake, no touch to wake, basically the screen was set to come on only when there's an alert or I pressed the buttons). I have all of the wake features enabled on this device, along with far more app alerts enabled, and the battery life is still a significant improvement over the Watch Active2.

Like These Enough I Bought a Second
I've had a 4 Classic since 2021 and there's enough to like about it that I haven't seen a watch I'd rather have. The battery life is the biggest downside. You can stretch it by running very few of its features continuously, but then what is the point of having it at all in that case? Using all the features to track your personal health journey, it is possible to get nearly full day charges, but you have to time a period of inactivity in which to fully recharge the watch in order to get through the night for sleep tracking and through the typical day. It charges relatively quickly, but this can still be hard to accomplish. Because of this, I bought a second watch here in refurbished condition. My plan is to let my day watch charge overnight while I switch to this watch for sleep tracking and use as a general backup. The Samsung Health App seems to deal with this well so far. I just turn the watch I'm going to charge off, then turn on the next watch. I never charge them while they are on. The condition of the watch was indistinguishable from new. It even came with a charger and a new band. The band is not my favorite, but it isn't uncomfortable either and will serve my purposes well. I looked at a new Watch 7 and Watch 7 Ultra, but even with longer battery life, the main problem that it eventually needs to be charged is not solved. I'm liking the solution of just having two identical watches best. As for the watch itself, I like it a lot. It isn't 100% accurate in all circumstances with all features, but it is close enough to be informative. If you need medical grade information, I'm sure you'll never find it on any watch to date. This is a heavy watch. If you don't like those, this isn't for you. My first Watch 4 Classic has survived over 3 years of use and I work blue collar type jobs. I've been surprised how tough and durable the screen is, mine still doesn't have a scratch. I think the dial bezel, which is a great feature in use, does a great job of adding protection. I got the silver color and it just looks like a classic watch with a modern flair. The grey on the band takes away from the crhrome a bit. A black band would put more focus on the watch itself.
