I used to use this product a decade ago or more, so I decided to try it again. I’m on a budget and need a white girlie tan! 😆 This in-shower lotion was under $10! I’ve always liked the tan I get from Jergen’s gradual self-tanners, both the lotion and this product. I feel like this one is a little quicker to develop compared to the regular lotion.I attached a pic of my leg 3 days apart. I applied “medium to deep” after my bath 2 nights in a row. I noticed a subtle glow the first time, and now I think I’ve achieved the light tan I was going for! I don’t want to look too dark or fake, so now I’ll just maintain it by applying it every 2-3 days.It doesn’t stink nearly as much as others do. It’s a little perfumey, but I like it. I haven’t gotten too many streaks or patches. No color on my clothing or sheets. When I wake up, I smell a faint fake tanner smell, but it washes away. If I can’t shower right away (like when I have to take my son to his bus stop), I just wipe off with wipes and use a smelly lotion…. It works!My tips: Apply it to freshly wet skin, but start with a quarter-size amount. I do my upper body first, use the leftover on my hands to apply to my face, then do my lower half. I avoid going between toes and fingers. On the second night, I also avoided my knees, ankles, and elbows. If you have dry skin, apply a small amount of regular lotion to those areas first (even on damp skin). Scrub any areas that look too saturated to achieve an even tan.Slightly orange in pics, but in person it has a healthy glow and looks richer! Makes me feel more confident in shorts and at the gym. ☀️

There is a learning curve to all self tanners. I have been using them for years due to skin cancer years ago. I use gloves and put on skin in a circular motion so there will be no streaks. Self tanners may streak if you rub it in a vertical or horizontal manner. Rub, rub, and rub until all the lotion is soaked in. Afterwards, take a dry washcloth and rub knees, backs of knees, ankles, wrists, armpits, and neck while gradually rubbing into the surrounding skin. You don't want the lotion on those areas but you don't want to take off the lotion on the surrounding areas so just do a gradual rubbing. Even with gloves, you will get the lotion on the wrists, so pay close attention to rub off the lotion on the wrists. If you have sunspots, freckles, moles, and other spots on your skin, remember it will also turn those areas darker, which is the reason I do not put it on my face. I usually put on self tanners right before bed and wear old long pajama pants because it may rub off on your clothes or sheets. By the next morning, the tanner will have worked and you can take a shower. You will see brown tanner run off your skin in the shower, but don't worry because the tanner will have already started darkening your skin. It may take some practice, but If you follow these instructions, you should develop a flawless and pretty tan. I usually use the tanner about once a week in order to keep a good tan. Also, you can still get sunburned, so use sunscreen. Now you can have a pretty tan without damaging your skin in the sun.

I am a male and have used almost twice a day for an entire week a couple of days have used once. After showrr before bed and after morning shower. This has worked almost perfectly. Did slightly start to make feet orange so I stopped. Has darkened me entirely without being noticeable that I am using tanning. Def worth the money and noticed a change after day 1. Has made a nice warm darker brown color. I wish it would go darker so I am keeping using it. Accurate to say this is not going to make you very dark but definitely takes away the pale Color and creates a natural look for sure. This is not for people that want to get really dark.

Okay this one’s for the newbs like me… so I used this like a month ago after I got out the shower on just my legs and loved it, fast forward to tonight around 9:30pm I put it on dry… well it’s 1am and I’m oily and gross and couldn’t figure out why I though u could use this dry..well you can… if you want to be “moisturized” except it’s more like oily and greasy and sticky and stinky. This stuff did not smell or any of those things before hand might I mention. Well now at 1am I decided to risk it all and take water and wipe it off fully expecting it to come off… nope I just needed water the whole time! So my note to you and me is MAKE SURE YOU USE WATER WITH THIS EITHER IN THE SHOWER OR WIPE IF OFF AFTER YOU APPLY IT DRY!!!

I’m quite pale and don’t do well in the sun—too much time outside usually ends in a rash for me. It leave this characteristic smell of a self tanner on you skin but it's very subtle. However, after multiple uses the scent builds up on a towel. I keep a separate towel for the days I use it, and when I am not.But it doesn’t stain towels. Absorbs fast enough that I can get dressed pretty quickly afterward.It’s not going to give you a dramatic tan overnight, but for a soft glow that enhances your natural tone, it’s become a staple for me.

This works so well and smells amazing. Easy to apply and doesn’t streak or stain hands. It applies and works like lotion and actually does moisturize my skin and make it glowy. I like that I can use it in the shower and there’s not a messy application. It means what it says on the packaging and doesn’t transfer onto anything (I sit on my white couch and sleep in my white sheets after using this with zero staining ever!) I love the natural buildable color and that it helps maintain my spray tans (I’m naturally fair and use medium dark and it’s perfect!!) It’s also a very reasonable price. Will be a new part of my staple products. You should try it!
