Extra-Large Bamboo Serving Tray

I recently purchased the Pipishell Bamboo Serving Tray with Handles and I am extremely happy with my purchase. This tray has quickly become one of my favorite household items and I use it on a daily basis. One of the things I love most about this tray is its versatility. I use it for a variety of purposes, including serving breakfast in bed, working from home, storing items, and even carrying items around the house. The handles make it easy to carry and the rectangular shape fits a variety of items. The tray is also very stylish and adds a nice touch to any room. I have to use a walker now, and although I have one with a webbed seat, the seat is not stable enough to carry food and beverages, especially when hot. I also need help in putting things away, or taking them to another room. This tray was boxed securely, came in perfect condition, is lovely, and I use it constantly. The sides are high enough to keep everything in, and I will probably use a couple of small bungee cords to fix the tray in place (although it stays pretty set where it is, even when I walk and turn the rollator). I'm also considering putting a mat down (like a dish drying, liquid absorbant mat), to reduce sliding. Right now I'm just using paper towels. This tray is attractive enough for display, but very sturdy & well made for actual use, and I'm very happy with it. Update: I've been using this tray as described above for well over a year now, and I'm amazed. It's supported very heavy bags of groceries so that I could put items away easily. I eat all of my meals off of it. And -- although I try to use potholders -- sometimes I've had to briefly carry hot dishes on it, before I'm able to put down padding. Despite heavy daily use, the tray is as pristine as it was out of the packaging. It wipes clean easily, and it is just beautiful. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this tray highly enough!!

I purchased a Kess outdoor towel rack for my elderly father to use as a side table. He doesn’t use the towel bars so I placed the Pipishell serving tray on top of the bars to extend the usable table space. He rotates the table to reach various items. The tray is not secured to the rack but hasn’t fallen off once.

These trays look great they are not strong or sturdy, so they can crack easily. And if you spell liquid on them, the liquid will leak through the sides. So if you are worried about spilling your coffee or tea, make sure to seal it with silicone. One of mine did crack after hot liquid spilled on it. I am not using it as a breakfast tray, see video.

Mom was bedridden for a few days this winter and we wanted something to place her things on the bed next to her. Her medications, morning tea, cellphone and dinner plate all fit well on this tray. It's very light buy very sturdy and easy to clean. It's nice and a comfortable size for carrying. Amazon offers a great selection of these trays from the comfort of home. And it sure beats getting out in the cold and not knowing where to find this item while driving around town.

These days I am walker dependent but still very active in and out of my home. My walker is the type that rolls on four wheels, and has a padded seat that is about 12" x 12". This tray fits perfectly over the seat (I never sit) between the legs on each side and greatly enlarges both the "cargo" space and the steadiness of the objects I am transporting. It has made my work so much more efficient. I can now take all the ingredients for meal preparation out of the fridge at one time, knowing that none will fall off. When tidying up around the house I can put many items securely at one time on this tray. I also now have a second tray on my walker in the garage, which makes it so much easier with cleaning and organizing out there. My neighbor uses the same type of walkers and she has had me order two for her, one for the first floor walker and one for the second floor walker. I do put paper towels down on the tray surface to keep it clean. But it does clean up easily in any case. I am so thankful that I found these trays!

The Pipishell Bamboo Serving Tray with Handles is attractive, with a nice, smooth finish, just as pictured. It initially appeared sturdy as well. However, after several months of regular use, the pegs holding the corners together began to come apart. I purchased 4 trays, and every one of them began to separate in this way. I may eventually try to repair them, but I shouldn't have to. This is a simple product--no moving parts--and now they're taking up space in my basement because they cost too much to throw out. The manufacturer should have done better. At $22 per tray, I expected more. It aggravated me no end to have to push the corners back together every time I washed the trays. I really wish they'd have come apart sooner so I could have returned them. All the positive reviews for these trays are a mystery to me, but perhaps most buyers don't use them daily as we did. We're back to using the sturdy worn wooden trays I purchased at Marshalls 10 years ago. I don't recommend these trays at all if you plan to use them daily. Update: I purchased 4 of these trays in January 2021. It's now Dec. 2022, and all four have come apart at the joints and been thrown out. I came across these again while looking for replacements and decided to update. Definitely one of my most disappointing Amazon purchases, and I'm a regular shopper here. :(
