The older I get, the more I appreciate simple, functional design which perfectly describes this bed frame. I wanted a frame that was well made, strong, and elevated from the floor enough to easily clean underneath. This one meets all that criteria with the added bonus of no center support leg to clean around. Assembly was very simple and straightforward with the exception of the middle bar that was somewhat tedious to secure, but not of any serious consequence. The slats fit perfectly, roll out as one interconnected unit and adhere with velcro onto the frame. The fact this is a steel frame with a middle steel support bar means you never have to worry about ample support of your mattress or the need to add box springs. The finish on the frame is a very attractive, subdued bronze/brass finish which enables you to leave it exposed if you desire. The frame is also machined to allow the attachment of a headboard. If you are looking for a simple, elegant, strong, well made bed frame, I highly recommend you give this one serious consideration.

Just squeaks like crazy when using it for activities other than sleeping.

This bed looks nice but it is the loudest thing I could imagine. Anytime my husband or I shift on the bed it creaks. I wish we hadn't bought it!

Excellent frame with lots of clear, open storage underneath. I'm a very picky person when it comes to my bed frames. This one replaced a solid oak captains bed witha huge headboard and footboard. Don't regret my decision at all. It's very sturdy and will last for decades to come. I did paint it silver to match my room decor. Easy to paint.

Looks great but quality is POOR. 1st bed they sent= squeaked like crazy, they said they needed to put their "newer screws" on it because they had been getting complaints. They exchanged it for another bed with the newer screws. Was fine for a couple weeks and then the screws loosened I guess because now I cannot even turn over in my sleep (and I'm less than 120 lbs) without squeaking. They are picking it up today and I'm back to the drawing board. Good service, good aesthetics, but not a functional option unfortunately.
