My daughter's Tahoe had an AFM lifter fail. So, I decided to do a DOD/AFM delete because it was likely the other lifters would be more failing soon, too. I decided to gather all of the parts necessary vs buying a pre-assembled kit. I didn't cheap out on quality and still saved ~$130 over the TSP kit with fewer necessary parts.After tuning out the AFM, the Tahoe started right away and ran like new with no ticking and no CEL.

Does the job , comes with alen bolts , I reused the original torques heads with loctite

This is a great camshaft retaining plate. The built in gasket seals well. It comes with bolts. It works great.

Fits well and inexpensive.It's the later style with countersunk bolts, but worked on my early 5.3 just fine.

The Hardware that comes with this kit is complete garbage - nothing wrong with the retainer plate but do NOT use these fasteners!
