Easy to use and very effective for electric
This pressure washer obviously does not have the power a gas powered one could have, however it does a really nice job. It has different water pressure settings and nozzles to change the stream and area it hits. It also has a tank for adding soap which is quite nice. The hose connectors can be stubborn at times but that is the only downside I have encountered so far.

Hose reel needs an update
The hose reel is very hard to wind and unwind- I think they should just have a place on the side to just let it hang. We contacted the company and they advised W40 which we used and it was a little better but still very hard to rewind- I think it will break so we just hang the hose off the side.

So far so Good. Solid product
I should start by stating I have never used an electric or consumer grade pressure cleaner before, only 4000psi+ commercial gas versions. I was a little wary of what to expect. I only planned on cleaning my vehicles, a few small patio areas and my metal roof none of which were too dirty and needed extreme pressure to clean and I figured the sun Joe could handle the job.I received the shipment yesterday and assembled it. Assembly was very straightforward and simple. (One tip though when assembling any fitting sealed with an o-ring always lubricate the o-ring. They are all pre installed in place which makes assembling easier but it allows the factory lubricant to wear away. I used a silicone based lube as it's least likely to react with the material however Vaseline should also work. Don't use a ton just enough to keep it from binding during install which will cause leaks and eventually failure of the seal.) once assembled I looked over the Individual parts and everything felt solid and well built. The best I can tell all fitting are standard brass m22 or 1/4 in quick disconnects which makes adding more hose or a different spray gun later easy. That being said the hose and gun that are included seem up to the job and robust. Also included is a aluminum garden hose connection, this is an upgrade; I have read the 3000 was plastic and a common complaint was it either breaking or leaking. The one possible weak point I noticed was the handle for the hose reel; it works and I haven't had a problem yet but I think with too much force applied at the wrong angle it might break. As for the pump and internals I have no idea as they are encased in the plastic shroud; while tempted to take it apart and browse the internals I thought better of it so it will remain a mystery. All other external features; switches, wheels, handles, resivior cap etc. are of good quality I wouldn't want to using it on a daily commercial basis but for around the house I would be willing to bet everything will last the life of the product if handled within reason. The unit once fully assembled is relatively light and well balanced with the pump and motor mounted low on the aluminum frame. Once again this is an improvement on the 3000 which was said to be top heavy and had a tendency to tip over. Now to actual performance; I moved the machine just outside my garage next to a small concrete pad. Hooking up the power and water was straightforward and simple; the water hose connection has a nice large grip that really helps. Then before turning on the power, I bled the air out of the system by holding down the trigger until water flowed. Then I installed a 15 degree nozzle and turned on the power. The unit ran for 5 sec or so to build pressure and quit. I then pulled the trigger and it came back to life with no delay and I began to clean the concrete. Worked great, compared to a commercial model I had to hold the nozzle closer to the concrete and could clean a smaller area at a time but it did the job blasting out dirt and grime built up over many years. I then switched to 0 degree nozzle just to test the full power. I had no real issue getting off some old dripped paint and a few other mystery stains. Overall it did a pretty good job, a commercial unit would have done it faster and probably left the concrete slightly whiter but on the flip side of that the sun Joe is so much quieter, lighter, affordable and easier on the lungs with no fumes; it's really the way to go for home use.It should be noted I have only had the cleaner for about 48hrs and I will update this review in the future if I find any issues with longevity or other cleaning tasks but for now I will say i couldn't be happier with the productUpdate 4-18-17Used the product for a few other small jobs with no problems. However I recently purchased a 50' extension hose and the associated m22 quick disconnect fittings; locally from Home Depot; to make switching between the two faster. When trying to install the fitting I found that while the sun Joe uses standard M22 threads interior sealing diameter is larger than standard. This means locally bought fittings and hoses will not work and its impossible to add quick disconnects to the wand or unit; I am quite frustrated with this situation and lowering to a 4 star rating for this reason.

Very good, affordable, electric pressure washer - just needs the turbo nozzle
I tried an electric power washer years ago but it just wasn't powerful enough. I think the max at the time was about 1700 psi, so I thought this might be worth a try. It works well, especially for the low price. However, the included tips are not that great. To get a good cleaning on something like concrete, siding, or a fence, you really need to get a turbo nozzle. I bought the Sun Joe one just to be sure it would be compatible. It's here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01ICC6QF0. It makes a huge difference because it uses a much narrower stream, like the small tip, but it spins it around in a pattern so you're not trying to clean with a pencil-thin line. It's a must-have accessory.I'm not too sure about the soap dispensing. It has a dial to choose how much to mix in, but it never seems to deliver very much. Supposedly you have to use the "soap" nozzle (although I'm not sure how it would be able to detect the nozzle to know to pull in soap), but even with that, I only seem to notice soap when first starting to use it and only with a very full soap container. After it's about 1/4 empty, in never seems to get any lower. My only real complaint with the washer is that it's very difficult to wind the hose on the reel. The whole unit is so lightweight and the hose is so stiff that you can't get any leverage while cranking, even if you try to put your foot on the unit to hold it down. In retrospect, I wish I would have bought the one that just has a hook and you coil the hose and hang it on the hook. It's actually a little cheaper of a model, but appears to have the same power.I used this to clean quite a bit of concrete, siding, camper roof, picnic table, and more.I tried the deck and patio cleaning attachment but didn't like it (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01E0DPVYC). The handle is too short and it's so light weight that you spend way too much energy holding it down to the surface and keeping it from flipping or popping up. It didn't seem much faster than using the turbo nozzle, but took a lot more effort. An extension hose is a must-have to keep from dragging the unit around as much (keep in mind that you have both a power cord and garden hose to deal with). I bought this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013646A78I also bought the 5.5 ft. extension wand (ttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01E0DPS5O). In general, you're supposed to be no more than a few feet away from the surface to be cleaned, but that's even more true with an electric power washer that has far less power than a gas powered one in the first place. So to reach high-siding, gutters, the porch ceiling, etc. the extension worked out really well. However, it does make it quite heavy! For part of the job (porch ceiling) I only used half of the extension poles.Having used gas pressure washers, I appreciate the quieter operation of the electric, especially since it stops completely when you're not actually pulling the trigger. I also like that there's no gas engine to worry about maintaining, especially when sitting for long periods during the off-season. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase.

Perfect for women
If you can't start your husband gas sprayer this is fantastic. Handle to roll up hose broke but it doesn't affect the performance.

Purchased for washing cars.
Before I begin, I just want to say that the sole purpose that I purchased this pressure washer is to wash/details my cars and everything else is considered bonus.I certainly like this design over the SPX3001 as it has a lower center of gravity and is much less prone to falling over if you want to unreel more hose. On that subject I find the hose way too short, I constantly need to move the machine in order to wash the entire car.Machine has decent pressure ( not sure if its actually 2030 or not ), and is relatively quiet. There is a place on the back of the handle bars to wrap the power cord up to keep everything nice and clean. So far I am extremely satisfied with this machine, as Sun Joe makes it a breeze to order a high pressure hose extension.

IT LEAKED... BADLY SENT IT BACK
While this machine performed well, it had a couple of issues. The hose reel is not able to wind the hose without assistance, if you crank the plastic handle hard enough to pull the hose in you will break it. Having the hose coiled on a small reel is not the best for it nor is is easy or fast to deploy or store. Rolls around ok but it can easily tip over if you inadvertently pull on the hose It leaked badly from the water inlet if I recall and I had to send it back. I wasn't going to risk ordering another due to the cost and it appeared that it was a design and or manufacturing flaw that might not be unique to my unit.

Broke down after 10 months
It was a good machine when it works but it broke down after 10 month with only one use.The part where the spray hose connects to the main body completely detached and clearly shows a break of the steel connecter. There has been no trauma done to the waster it was just in storage over the winter.I am very disappointed with the workmanship and I will follow up with warranty and see how it goes.

So far, so good
I've been using and maintaining pressure washers for 50 years. This Sun Joe washer is good for a home unit. Smooth pump operation, and pump cut-out at pressure is a good feature as well. Hose reel is a nice touch; if a little wimpy. Don't force it. The dual pressure selector and multiple tips make it the most versatile on the market. I tried an aftermarket wand from Princess Auto on it and it was compatible. This unit rates an "A" with me; we'll just see how it lasts!

Better than I expected
Outside of assembling the handle (5 seconds) and inserting the hose....simple to operate. I run mine on a med-low water pump well system, so having a lower pressure is a great thing as I don't have the flow to run it on high. But even on low pressure it had no issues ripping of moss growing on brick, deck cleaning, pool concrete whitening and car washing. The hand roller for the water pipe is a bit flimsy but functional. Very stable and has yet to tip over. Love the different snap on tips to adjust spread and pressure. The widest head did a great job cleaning oil patches on the driveway as well.
