I went camping for a night with my dogs and it was freezing outside. I use this sleeping bag with a few other blankets and my dogs in the sleeping bag with me and we slept amazing. Very warm considering how cold it was but you definitely need extra blankets and I was not bundled up with warm clothes just some socks and pants. Very soft and comfortable sleeping bag.

It seems to be really thin and not gonna keep you warm, but it is amazingly warm. The weather was 35° all night, and I stayed warm with just the one sleeping bag.

Overall a very nice product, however it got down into the 50's and this was not adequate enough to keep from needing additional layers. I don't believe this is properly rated.

I really liked this bag but after a season of using it I needed to wash the bag. I also dried it in low heat. The filling bunched up and became hard. The drawstrings broke off in the wash and I had to cut them off. I shouldn't have washed it but whoever herd of a bag that can't be washed? I took it camping anyway after washing it but I think I'll have to buy a new one. I'm looking for one that says it can be washed. It's a pity that washing it ruined it. You need to be able to wash a sleeping bag because camping isn't clean. I do really like the color and size is great. The zipper works well too. I didn’t notice any smell the first time I used it so that was great. Just don't wash it. Maybe steaming it would work to clean it. I really liked the compression stuff bag too and that you didn’t have to roll it up. I tried to roll it in the beginning but I soon learned that it wasn't very good in the rollability department.

My husband is 6' 2" and I am 5' 4". We are both plus sized people and we both comfortably fit into this sleeping bag with two medium sized dogs who weigh 40-45 lbs. This sleeping bag has a easy to open and close zipper on both sides. Additionally, these zippers are a 2 way zipper. The zippers handles themselves are also nice because they swivel between the inside and outside of the bag. If you like to put your whole body under the covers, this is a nice feature since it allows you to open the zipper from the inside of the bag itself. There is a small opening at the bottom of the sleeping bag due where both 2 way zippers meet. This is definitely one of the bad features it has, but does not allow it to affect my overall rating of it. Although I am personally not a fan of the small bit of air that does enter the sleeping bag from the hole, I am thankful for it as it prevents you from sweating in it.This sleeping bag does come with cute little pillows, but if you're the type of person who can't sleep with out a pillow, these will not do the job.Although this sleeping bag is lightweight, it definitely does a fabulous job in keeping you warm in the cold weather. I did find that I needed to use a comforter on top of the bag, but that is only due to the fact that I like to feel as if I am about to walk through the gates of hell as I am sleeping. My use of an additional comforter was also due to the fact that this sleeping bag was used during a 20 degree night with 30 MPH winds, which is outside of the temperature range this bag advertised. Had the additional comfortable not been used during this night, we would have just been warm and not toasty, which is still great considering the weather conditions we were sleeping in. The hooded feature this bag has is also nice because you can use it to cocoon yourself if you're into that. My last favorite thing about this sleeping bag is that it is nylon on both the inside and outside of the bag. If you have dogs that shed like I do, this feature is the cherry on top as it makes the dog hair easy to remove from the entire sleeping bag.My overall opinion of this sleeping bag is that I just simply love it. It's not only spacious, easy to store, easy to use, and easy to clean, but it also did a good job at keeping us warm outside of the advertised temperature. It was a great buy as a great price.
