Pleasant Surprise
I needed to replace an inexpensive serrated knife. I was shocked that I could get a high end, nearly indestructible, name brand knife from Germany . . . for only one or two dollars more. The blade is heavy duty and sharp. So glad I scrolled down a short way.

Very effective - be careful!
This is a heavier, though well-balanced knife. I got this for my mom who was using my Henckels twin version ($90) to cut up Amazon boxes. (Cringe.) This thing is a workhorse. Its serration makes easy work of bread and tomatoes. The heft of the blade makes it strong but may be tiring for lighter wrists to do lots of chopping. (Use a chef's knife for volume instead.) And yes, it's sharp. My mom needed six stitches in her fingertip. Be careful!

A great addition to my knife drawer
A knife that i thought would be too big? It fits my hand really well. The seated edge is very sharp and made short work of my roast and ham. A little pricey but still a good value for a quality knife.

Nice Knife
Cuts like a knife! Ha, ha...works really well. Love it on tomatoes and veggies. Works well on steak & chicken, too. Grip feels safe and comfortable, too. I'll come back and give an update after I've had it for awhile. But, so far, so good. Nice value for the money. UPDATE: Downgrading to 4 stars, instead of 5, because the serrated edge is only on one side. So, while sharp, it tends to lean one way and doesn't provide a clean, even cut all the time.

Great paring knife
Perfect for a serrated knife. Sharp and a handy size

If the handle was properly finished, it would be an excellent knife.
It is sharp. The blade is stiff and well shaped. The handle is a good design but very poorly finished, edges are almost sharp. If the knife was properly finished it would be a 5.

This is supposed to cut items like tomatoes but the blade is too thick and needs to be more serrated. A cheap serrated steak knife does a better job. For the price I am not impressed.
