I bought this to help with neck pain while I wait for an upcoming neck surgery. I needed an ice pack that would full cover the sides of the neck near the jugular area. It comes with a ziplock plastic bag to help prevent freezer burn, but I wish it came with a more durable fabric bag like other ice packs I've tried. I'm not sure how long the cheap plastic bag will hold up. I'm 5'0" tall so it was able to full wrap around my neck with good coverage. It's much easier to use than trying to balance a normal ice pack on my neck. There are large velcro pieces at the front to secure and adjust it, but these can be quite itchy and uncomfortable if you don't adjust them carefully. The ice pack itself is a semi-solid gel covered in a material that feels like a scuba suit. Unfortunately I can only get 20-30 minutes out of it so it doesn't last very long compared to other ice packs I've tried. I was going to an amusement park and knew I would need an ice pack but couldn't risk walking around without my neck brace right after surgery so this worked great! It is very flexible, not any heavier than any other ice pack, the cover is soft. I don't see how it would leak, it's like a memory foam gel pad not a jelly consistency. It works great, I wish it stayed colder longer but it does stay cold long enough to fulfill the usual recommended time for therapy. It folds up easily it's not large so it's easy to travel with.

The neck ice pack is very comfortable to wear and doesn’t take up much room in the freezer. It stays cold for the 20-30 minutes that my doctor recommends using and is still cool when I put it back in the freezer. I ordered a large so it would cover more of my shoulders and works well for me. Not bulky too so an additional benefit if I am moving around.

Fits nicely around neck, light. BUT it only stays cold for about 5-10 minutes, and the velcro is trash, barely holds together. For a decent cold compress you need to use two in sequence, which makes it pricey for what you get.

Pro: Das Ding kühlt recht gut und bleibt auch im Gefrierfach geschmeidig und flexibel. Contra: - reicht überhaupt nicht an den Nacken heran. Die Passform ist grausam, egal wie ich es festmache. Meine Schultern werden ein bisschen gekühlt und das wars. Dafür war es nicht gedacht! Ist für mich also leider nutzlos. Wäre die Form anders, wäre es ein richtig gutes Produkt. Ich bin jetzt auch nicht sonderlich groß oder klein, dick oder dünn. So bringt das Ding leider gar nichts.

Great product that works well for hot weather, especially when playing outdoor tennis. The only minor issue is that the black color absorbs heat and warms up faster than it should. Otherwise, great product.

I like that it's easy to freeze and doesn't take up much room. I like that it fits around the neck and has a lower part in the back to get the sore spots. This is a great product and I absolutely love it. It has really helped with the pain from whiplash. Definitely worth having.
