So far, so good! I’ve got 4 boys and we use this as a toy chest/dining table bench. It’s held up much better than I imagined! The last two storage benches we bought started breaking within a month, and were ready for the dump in 6-10 months of daily use. The kids are hard on stuff! But this bench is holding up great! Easy to wipe off, the lid props open and doesn’t fall down, holds a TON, and is pretty comfy to sit on. My husband is 6’5” and about 230 lbs and he’s sat on it a bunch with no ill effects. I am very happy with this purchase. Update: We’ve had this for a year now and it’s still working perfectly! My 40 lb 2 yr old sometimes jumps on the lid, my husband sits on it, the kids open and shut it many times every day, and it still looks and works great! It’s outlasted any other storage bench we’ve had by at least 4-6 months. I am very happy with this brand. So much so that I bought a storage ottoman for in front of our couch which also is holding up really well. Update #2: Just passed the two year mark and still going strong. Looks great and still functions as well as the first day we bought it. This is a top-notch piece of furniture. If it can survive two years in my house, it can survive anything! Update: it’s Dec 14, 2021 ( wild couple years amiright!?) and our bench is still benching. The lid has slightly caved in just a hair, but otherwise still going strong. Hinges still work great and it still looks almost brand new. Great bench!

I bought this as a temporary solution while remodeling my home. I had to have the storage, so I was willing to have something that looked cheap for a few months. It surprised me. It's lined on the inside with the same sueded fabric as the outside. It's a very good value for the money. The fabric is not an icky velvet but a low nap suede. Quite nice.

We have small grandchildren and had a coffee table with hard edges and corners. I'd been wanting something to store their toys (some of them anyway) with softer edges and found this extremely affordable on Prime Day. Color crayons, color books, puzzles, games and all those leggos fit perfectly. They can crawl on and run into without getting hurt yet it is very aesthetically pleasing ... and has safety hinges. I'd thought I wanted tufted but am very pleased with this smooth seamed surface. I can still use it to set a beverage or other items. The only put together is to screw the feet on - easy peasy. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend.

Very nice for a fake leather piece, but who can afford the real thing? No assembly except for attaching the legs, which was easy. Would be a bit better with longer legs, as it is a bit low Good capacity. Perfect for extra blankets and pillows. One major drawback is that the top will easily pick up dents when anything hard or heavy sit on it. My husband left a plastic box on it and it left visible dents in the vinyl upholstery.

I purchased this to replace a shorter storage ottoman. It came unassembled but was fairly easy to put together. WARNING: do NOT overscrew the feet into the bottom as it can push the thread assembly head that holds the feet in place up into the ottoman frame. They are braced with heavy duty staples and can shift if a staple was not centered properly. This happened on one of the feet I attached and I had to carefully pull back the black mesh bottom liner, re-secure the thread assembly head and reattach the bottom liner. At least it happened on the first leg so I knew to be less brutal with the remaining 3 :) . And, yes, I know I could have just returned it and requested a replacement but I've never been accused of being a particularly patient person. It is narrower than my previous ottoman but I'm starting to like that as it helps uncramp the space I put it in and the extra length more than makes up for the narrower depth. This is long enough that it offers a foot rest to the majority of the length of my entire sofa so I don't miss the double reclining monstrosity that I got rid of. Nice sturdy cushioned top, MUCH better than the one I replaced that was purchased from a well known big box store. I would recommend this to someone who's in the market for this type of ottoman.

I love my townhouse, but it's definitely lacking in storage on the main level. I needed a place to store things like blankets, board games, candles, etc, as well as a little extra seating for when I have company (that wouldn't take up as much room as a couple of arm chairs). I checked the measurements before I ordered it, but was still kind of shocked when I saw the box. It really is huge. It seems to be well made. I stood on it (165 lb female) to hang a picture and it didn't break, so in my book, that means it is pretty sturdy. It looks great and matches my bright boho themed living room perfectly! My favorite purchase in a while.

I purchased this for my sister last year. Now I'm considering buying one for myself.

you get what you pay for. this is perfect to sit under my window so my dogs can perch themselves to see out.
