Time release 5 htp is a brilliant idea. Consistent quality really helps me feel better most of the day. If you have a friend with consistently low moods, suggest 5 HTP, I would say.

Not the best brand

You can feel this product is working within an hour or so of taking it with no negative side effects. Its a precursor of many neurotransmitters and works in the gut so addresses many symptoms. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is it used to be available at Dollar General for $4.95 but was discontinued there and showed up here for 10 times the price. Still effective.
