Perfect! A must have for lunches and meal planning
These bento boxes are near perfect. I use these every day for work lunches. The slim design allows them to easily fit in the insulated front pocket of my backpack. Having 2 of them allows me to use the extra ice packs for keeping other items in my backpack cold. Meanwhile, the other container is in the fridge ready to go with the next meal or the next day’s lunch. It’s perfect for meal planning. To help keep the lid/ ice packs clean while in use, I simply place press and seal plastic wrap over the top of the container before placing on the lid. The container does not leak. But depending on what you place in the bento box and the position of how you carry it, some liquids such as juice from watermelon or applesauce may move from one compartment to another. I have not experienced this challenge based on my meals and I position the bento box on its side in my backpack (as shown in the photo) I plan to buy more of these to plan dinners for the week. I highly recommend this item.

Great box but hard to open
5 year old struggled to open it. Sent it back.

All in one
This lunch box is so nice that it has a double tray and keeps everything cold. The only downfall is that each compartment isn’t leakproof so if you have something like salsa, I would recommend putting it in a container with a lid and then into here so it doesn’t get everywhere if the box if jostled in your bag. Otherwise, it’s great for having a lunch with multiple items!

Ice pack clips break easily
Really loved this whole concept. Met our needs, as my kids' backpacks are too full for large lunch bags. I needed something that could be kept cold, but on week three of school, the clips that hold the ice packs in place broke off. Both lids, same day. I'm solving the problem by buying slim lunch insulated containers that the bento box can slip in. Ice packs can go on outside. Again, great concept but plastic clips not effective.
