Can’t fault it!
The FiiO Control iOS app works well on my 2nd gen iPad Pro, and on my iPhone XR.Connecting either to BTA30 pro - no problem.Hard-wired my iPhone directly (coax) to the DAC playing downloaded flac files via FooBar2000 (flac player) for iOS. All good.CD player (Musical Fidelity A35) to DAC, coax cable. All good.iPad/iPhone Foobar2000 bluetooth to BTA 30 pro - all good. All through my hi-fi system - amp and speakers.Excellent but of kit. Brought new life to my old hi-fi system.

Awesome little Bluetooth transmitter
If you're looking for something to connect bluetooth headphones to a PC without having to deal with all the nonsense of Windows' poor codec support, dropouts when the PC stutters or goes under load, or hijacking of your audio to a different device when you get a call - this is for you.One button to pair and it turns your headphones into a single dumb audio device, as they should be. LDAC support is awesome, and it doubling as a DAC or receiver in a pinch may come in handy. The range is also great, I have been using USB bluetooth adapters until this point and those can get me around 5 metres or so away from my computer (including walls/floors inbetween) before experiencing signal drops or degredation. With this I can cover my entire house whilst maintaining a constant LDAC signal, I can even go out into my garage or garden and the signal is maintained; that's like 30m through multiple brick walls! It's expensive, but for LDAC and such good range there's not really a better option.

Good but could be better
I was looking for something better to replace 1Mii B03Pro Bluetooth transmitter and looked at this Fii0 BTA30 PRO and was put off straight away by lack of input connections as I would have preferred RCA input option but I decided to take a chance knowing I would need a analogue to digital converter. Now connection is strong and great sound coming through and a haven't noticed this sound cut off that other people have mentioned. But I don't use this for TV, instead it's mainly for music to either my Bose pro speaker for out in the garden or my headphones early hours of the morning as I have awkward work shifts so not to disturb my neighbours. One thing I am very disappointed is that I thought this was a long range Bluetooth transmitter which is stated on their official website but the range is very poor compared to the 1Mii B03Pro. I can only just get outside to the first wall with this Fiio where's the 1Mii goes a lot further up to the garage. Big difference between them really. So I don't know wether to keep it or not yet. Just very disappointed in the range otherwise it is better than the 1Mii but it beets Fii0 in the distance. And I've discovered it doesn't like switching between devices either. I have to force reconnect when I want to use another where's to 1Mii has no problem switching between devices. The range problem was my Fii0 BTR7 Bluetooth connection on this seems to be degrading and I've not had it long either.

Using it with Windows through USB for LDAC support
Setup took about 15 seconds to get my Sony WH-1000X4's connected and working. Great audio quality. Before windows added AAC support (which the WH-1000X4 also supports) I could only get SBC and that was awful to listen to. Windows adding AAC support improved the sound quality over SBC - but I find that the BTA30 Pro brings out more detail than WIndows connecting via AAC (to my ears, at least).I'd say the difference is small, but it's enough for me to choose to listen through this device every time.I do miss the ability to use the gesture controls to pause the music player. Obviously, for those of you that use their headphones for conf calls, you can't use the headphone mic, but I never take a business call with headphones on (I think it looks unprofessional).

Excellent sound quality
Well made, excellent codecs for transmitting music from my phone to my hifi which does not have Bluetooth. Really good sound quality. Lovely piece of kit. Only downside is only inputs are coaxial or optical, neither of which works for me. So in my case, it's working as a receiver. Glad I bought it.

Very, Very Bad Device
I wanted to try this to see if it was better than the 1Mii B03Pro since it's more expensive, turns out it isn't, the sound quality between them is pretty much identical and the 1Mii actually works better. So the problem with this device is, when there is low audio playing the sound cuts out, it's almost like a noise gate, if the audio goes below a certain level the entire audio just cuts off which is actually a really really poor design choice, the manufacturer has said that this cannot be solved by firmware updates so this makes this device redundant for me, this is happening with it connected via USB to the PC and connecting via bluetooth to headphones.I've seen some others having the same issue too on the forums.Better to get the 1Mii in my opinion, it also has way better ease of use than this one.

Great sound quality!
I was really surprised how great the sound quality can be via Bluetooth (with proper headphones/earphones). I've tried it with Hifiman Ananda BT (using LDAC codec) and was really really impressed!Cons:- no remote eg.: to control volume etc. :o- one unit didn't wanted to pair with Bose QC35 II. Can be one off case as other unit paired with Bose without any problem.- with Ananda BT the minimum volume is too loud (shouldn't be problem with most other headphones as they have own volume control while Ananda BT doesn't...)Overally I do strongly recommend this item with all headphones with built-in volume control. Otherwise you need to be in hand reach distamce to control volume and chceck if minimum volume is not too loud (fortunately Amazon have friendly return procedure in case of any problems).
