Really nice monitor
This is an excellent monitor. I'm really happy I got this. It's set up very easily with my old converted windows seven computer which was switched to Windows 10. My existing video card is not a fancy one but it works very well and the colors are crisp clear really excellent monitor. You can't go wrong with this. I am using it because we are not able to go into New York to see concerts period there are a lot of online concerts and I wanted to see him in better clarity with a little bit bigger screen this monitor really fills the bill nicely and it doesn't cost a fortune either. Yes if I had to but do it all over again I would buy the same one.

Great professional monitor
I'm a heavy computer user, being an IT guy. I have high expectations for quality surrounding peripherals and Viewsonic has not let me down. This monitor is a matte display with VERY accurate and vibrant colors. I don't game at all, so I can't speak to that, but video and text are fantastic. I keep this one in my office at home which is pretty dimly lit, and I turned the brightness down to about 55% and it's perfect without eyestrain. The menu is a little annoying with the buttons being on the back of the monitor, but the aesthetic of a this bezel and no buttons or lights is a good trade-off. Setup was a little iffy with the signed driver not working well on Win10, but the unsigned version worked okay. The auto rotate is a neat feature and it works as expected, though I don't think I'll use it much. I use the audio out on the monitor to run to my Sony speakers, that way I leave less cables running from my laptop (just USB-C hub!).

Solid monitor so far; fairly easy to setup in dual monitor mode (once you find info on the web)
**NOTE** If you plan on hooking two of these monitors up in a DisplayPort daisy chain arrangement, you DO NOT need to purchase extra DisplayPort cables - the cables that come with two monitors provide what you need to hook one to a DisplayPort outlet on your video card, and then daisy monitor 1 to 2. I should have ignored the 'Suggested purchase together' items...I recently purchased a new high-end Dell PC and decided I was not going to hook my older mis-matched monitors to the new setup. After doing some Googling, I landed on these Viewsonic monitors as a reasonable balance between price & performance and bought two. *Kudos to the tech guy who does this for law firms and took the time to document the process, as well as suggest monitors that were capable of daisychaining, as documentation on both video card and monitor manufacturer websites was poor to non-existent.*I've hooked them up in a DisplayPort daisy chain configuration. Initially getting them to display my desktop across the two monitors resulted in my desktop being monitored on both monitors. The key wasn't a setting in Windows 10 or my video card configuration, but in the setup menu of the monitors themselves. The short version is you hook a DisplayPort cable from your video card to monitor 1, take another cable from the DP Out port on monitor 1 into monitor 2, and then make the following settings are in place on both monitors: Press the top button on the back right side of the monitor, choose the "hamburger" icon button (hamburger is 3 horizontal lines - buttons on back right correspond to menu icons displayed), use right/left icons & corresponding buttons to manuver to the "Setup Menu" item, click the check icon button, use up/down icon buttons to go to "DisplayPort 1.2", select "On" item (selected item turns yellow, non-selected are white), set "MST" submenu item to "On", and then save and exit. Better directions can be found with some web searching.

Versatile, high-value monitor
After two months of continuous use, the versatility when used with two laptops stands out: (1) fast, 1080p display quality, (2) USB hub, (3) auto-switching on the two HDMI ports (MacBook Pro & Dell Latitude laptop), (4) easy on-monitor controls, and (5) adjustable for height, angle, and portrait/landscape. Good to have the included HDMI and USB cables. Portrait orientation is great for editing big documents or scrolling through webpages designed for mobile.I only see two possible drawbacks: (1) may not be fast enough for top-end gaming hardware/software pairing, and (2) lacks more than 1080p though that keeps the price down compared to 2K and 4K monitors.

Excellent Commercial grade Monitor
I prefer monitors with DisplayPort and USB hubs built-in. This fits the bill and works great when using optional hardware to mount an Intel NUC to the VESA mount. It does require some modification to the stand to make it work with the ViVo NUC VESA Mount. All you have to do is break off the tabs on the top of the stand and mount the bracket with a set of spacers. This monitor has a very thin bezel and sharp image with great color. Highly recommended, even over Dell Ultrasharp.I do wish there was a soundbar available for this monitor. Otherwise you cant go wrong!

Viewsonic Is Tops
This monitor had the exact technology I needed.I am a designer, interior architectural, so rendering colors need to be spot on. The clarity of the display makes computer drafting less taxing on the eyes.Over all just a great value if the price!I will say that I regretted having purchased through amazon. The first one I recieved burned out in the first week.Unfortunately I wet away just after recieving And setting up.By the time I got back and realized the monitor wasn’t functioning it was 31 days.Art first I thought, well that isn’t a problem since I purchased the three-year warranty can you Amazon well I’m calling Amazon I was in told they do not offer a warranty on Viewsknic merchandise as they warrantee their own products.Sounds great right? Well, the process of exchange isn’t as easy as Amazon and the whole process took another three weeks.Mind you since then I’ve had no issues and I couldn’t be happier with my new monitor I just wished it was clearly labeled on the Amazon website how the warranty works.
