I've been looking for various tablet mounts for use with home automation kiosks. This one fits the bill as described.The unit has only three "joints" and a retention clip that holds the device to it. All are good and should keep the unit stable and vibration-free. The slot joint connecting the arm to the "jaws" (visible in my images) is very tough, but is detachable. Note that it's still not EASY to detach, so don't do it until you're ready to mount it :-)The jaws are adjustable, and held my tablet without any challenges.The overall unit feels VERY solid. I haven't mounted it yet, but I had a tough time moving the joints with them cranked down.If all you need is a frame, look elsewhere: there are cheapie frames out there to stick your tablet on the wall (or 3d-printable ones).If you need a frame with a swing-arm to position it, and you want to feel confident that it won't drop your device, this is probably worth the investment.

Nice fits nicely but it slides out.. doesn't hold tightly

I work for a public transit agency, and we use these mounts in all of our paratransit vehicles. They’re exceptionally durable and hold up well under constant, heavy abuse. For the price, the quality and longevity are hard to beat. Additionally, the customer service is stellar, too.
