GREAT thread
I have a picky machine that will only sew with quality thread. This thread is definitely quality. It's smooth and consistent. It feels to me that it is lighter weight than most other threads, but it is sturdy and sews so well

Mettler thread works best for me.
As a lifelong seamstress I prefer this Mettler Silk-Finish Cotton Thread. I purchase the basic colors in the 2000 yd spool and the other colors in 547 yd spools. Works well in my Bernina and Janome.

I love Mettler thread
Dust is minimal and it is stronger then Aurifil.

I sew a great deal, including clothing and quilts. Mettle silk-finish cotton thread is my favourite for both purposes. It also seems to work best in my Janome sewing machines. The stitches are even without skipping.

Like others have stated. Lots of “cotton dust”. Otherwise seems to be working well.

Too large for my sewing machine so I returned it!

I like mettler thread but this seems to break easily as it is heavier than I am used to. It frays and breaks in the needle's hole. A little disappointed as I was excited to get such large spools.
