A Classy Book For A Class Actor.
A comprehensive overview of Daniel Craig's phenomenal tenure as James Bond and an insight into the man himself. From Casino Royale to No Time To Die we get the whole story of one man's journey-both the character and the actor-and the utter determination to make his portrayal the most believable and real of any of the past actors to play the part, while remaining true to Ian Fleming's creation. It's a riveting read, entertaining throughout with contributions from actors, producers and even stuntmen and it gave my arms quite a workout while i read it over a week.Daniel Craig comes across as such an ordinary,down-to-earth person it's hard to believe that he could play a ruthless, brutal Government-Sanctioned assassin with such ease, although judging by his injuries his quest for realism sometimes got the better of him-which just proves his commitment to the role.He even suggested killing him off at the first film's premiere...and 15 years later he got his wish granted. It's all there in this book which is a must have for any fan of Mr.Craig's interpretation of the damage, both physical and mental that being 007 really means(no invisible cars for him)and he's going to be an almost impossible act to follow.Whoever takes on the role-because "James Bond Will Return" it would be a nice touch if the opening sequence involved all the surviving Bond actors as the guard of honour at his funeral, while the next 007 is already in operation...Just a suggestion for the production team. Thanks,Daniel, for renewing this Bond fan's enthusiasm for the character and the films.

The definitive account of Craig’s time as 007
This book is much more than an on-set photographic record of Daniel Craig’s tenure as James Bond. Yes it’s beautifully illustrated but it also contains cast/ crew interviews, a plot synopsis for each film and Salisbury gives a well-researched account of the background and reception for each of Craig’s 5 films. I loved it and can’t recommend it highly enough.

Not Enough originality
Bought this, as I was a big fan of the Daniel Craig Bond era, coming after the dismal Pierce Brosnan movies. Unfortunately a lot of the photos presented most 007 fans would have seen before. And those photos shown are not that high quality! There's a scattering of original shots, but not enough. Text is ok, but again nothing really new. Cant really recommend this book. Expected more from it.
