The Powerex NiMH Rechargeable D Batteries (1.2V, 11,000mAh) - 2-Pack is a package of 2 nickel-metal hydride rechargeable D-cell batteries. Each has a voltage of 1.2V and a capacity of 11,000mAh. These long-lasting batteries are rechargeable up to 1000 times, and they have memory-free operation, meaning you can charge them anytime you like and they will not develop memory effect, a condition that causes batteries to hold less charge.

Love these batteries - have been using them for the past 9 months with no problems. Bought 4: 2 to keep charged while using the other 2 in a Luminara Deluxe 4" x 9" Remote Wax Candle Ivory - have been charging them with a Tenergy T-9688 Super Universal LCD Battery Charger. This combo works great together - have given the batteries, candle, and charger all 5 star ratings. I use the candle as a sort of "eternal" candle so it stays lit 24/7 - change the batteries out every 10 days (would last longer, but like to be safe). So that means over the past 9 months I charged each set of batteries 13 times, no appreciable loss of power that I've noticed. Would definitely buy them again, though at this rate, I will not need to do so for a long, long time! Well worth the money. One thing to note that I have learned - rechargeable batteries vary quite a bit depending on the type of device you use them in - don't buy a lot of batteries or devices until you have tested them out to see how they will work.

50 Recharges and Still Strong
I use these batteries to power a small battery fan. I alternate usage between a pair of Powerex and a pair of Tenergy Centura; while one pair is recharging the other is at work. Each pair have been recharged about 50 times. While the Tenergy are fading away now to about half their original running time, the Powerex are as strong as the day they started. You pay more, but you get more with these top of the line batteries. But if you don't recharge frequently, the cheaper brand may be good enough for your needs.Addendum 21 NOV 2015; the same pair of these batteries has now been recharged over 140 times and still going strong.Addendum 18 NOV 2016; I finally tossed out the pair after about 200 recharges; they weren't holding their charge very long.

Top Guns
These are the best of the best. Don't look any further. I bought these batteries 2 years ago and I have about 10 recharge cycles on them. I finally got my electronics lab set up to test batteries' capacity because I have a bunch of old packs that I need to check out. They checked out at almost exactly 11,000 mAh - As advertised. They held 1.1V at a discharge rate of 1.1A through the whole discharge cycle. Very nice sharp drop-off when they were expended. Compare these results to the craptastic Tenergy D-cells; Advertised at 10,000 mAh, they tested out at 5,000 mAh.

Longest lasting rechargeable
Best rechargeable D batteries I have tried. I have purchased several brands of rechargeables and in my opinion the Powerex have been by far the best. I generally use them in flameless candles and they hold a charge for about 4-5 weeks with the candle timer on for 6 hours/day. After trying these I purchased two other brands that were less expensive but ultimately went back to the Powerex.

Great Batteries and Worth The Price!!
I love these batteries. And I use them a lot, especially in my 4 Rayovac Sportsman LED Lanterns. The best thing about these batteries are that they last for 24 to maybe 36 hours on the low setting. I can't get that with any of my Tenergy 10,000mAh rechargeable DD batteries.Of course I wish they were a bit less costly but truthfully I must have cycled them over 250-300 times and they are as good now as when I first bought them. So they are really well worth the additional cost. I think I now have about 16 or more of them, and am still buying them when I have a few extra bucks on hand.I highly recommend them and I use a lot of rechargeable high capacity batteries so I am pretty well versed in how to use them, refreshing them, cycling them, etc.. I finally bought the 8 chamber DD Maha battery charger for them and even though the charge rate is slightly high, about 2000mAH per hour, they actually got stronger. These Batteries are absolutely the best ones on the Market today.

These are great!
Warning these things are heavy no rass!they hold a ton of charge so as a consequence they will take a while to charge up.I put them in my multiplex LN5014 charger at 1Amp and it still takes a couple hours to fully charge one of these babies up.good buy though I like them.

Very Powerful Battery.
Very powerful batteries. These certainly fill the bill for any application requiring high discharge. I have used these in several applications where normally the 1.2 V rating would be noticeable, but I might as well have been running heavy duty alkalines. There was no difference. These also do not discharge as much as I feared; I had a set in a radio for over 6 months, yet they fired it tight up and it ran all weekend for me without recharging. They also appear to be relatively free from any kind of memory effect. I use the Powerex brand AA batteries in other equipment I have, and they are as good as if not better than Eneloops. I am happy to report the D cells are just as good.

Just works, in use with a Maha PowerEx MH-C808M Charger, takes time, but I charge slow at night.

You can tell by the weight
Have more than a dozen of this make of rechargeable battery, very impressed by performance compared to Panasonic which are good batteries, but not as good as these. They are expensive, but when using in outside location, requiring a the use of a ladder to change them in security lights from America, Very very pleased. You can appreciate how good they are by the weight, they are a lot heavy and therefore more robust

The best D batteries out there
The best I could find after studying what was out there. Heavy duty and weigh like a D battery should. None of this flimsy light-weight wannabes that contain only the same charge as an AA. These are the real deal. If you have a portable hi-fi like we used in the 80's this is what you want to put it in it.
