Mini Lightbar 6.2˝, Spot

Good light

Lighting was great but not water proof. Bought a pair but one light got spoilt due to water seeping inside so i hav to buy another pair to replace da spoilt one and one as a spare. Be careful to fix in a place to minimize the water damage ** 5 star reduced to 1 star as per my experience **

I bought 4 all of them in the same place one of them filled of water in the second day sealing was very bad

Tested in my living room they looked promising. Fitted them I was dissapointed at first till I adjusted their height and angles. I really like them give a great spread of light brighter than my stock fog lights brighter colder white light than my low beams for 2 x 30 watt mini light bars they are excellent they must have good drivers and LEDs installed love the easy fixings having loose wires made it easy to wire into existing light bar harness. Have driven with them in darkness and flood light effect is great. Mind you they want to be at the price. Might get another two in time

So I like lights. But not too many... I have plenty of led lights from other, let's say cheaper, manufacturers. I like the Wowled brand for example as the build quality is good and they seem to last better than others. However, these Hella Black Magic LEDs are definitely a big step up in both quality, efficiency and brightness. Definitely worth the extra money. It is easy for the eye to be fooled into believing a light is bright. If you make the foreground very bright then we say it's bright. For driving you need distance as blowing out your vision from a close bright splash stops you seeing further. The 2nd pic shows a no-name lightbar (off my son's car) that pulls 14amp (168w). It's very splashy but one of the Hella (30w, real 1600lm) gives a larger light field and longer depth. I also have Hella Rallye 3000 halogen (55w) drive lamps and they are fully outclassed by the Black Magic in terms of a drive pattern. Though I'd probably say the big Rallye have better depth (narrower beam more spotlights). To be honest make sure you can switch these off separately from your main beam as in some circumstances they are obnoxiously bright reflection from big signs). I'd love to see how good they are against a mates Lazer Tripple R (that are another class up). Overall very happy with them.
